Still, I think we've spent enough on the schools the first time around. The first stimulus was basically 1/2 make work projects for schools and the other half tax cuts.

All those construction workers would have been employed for years.

The country, would have received a valuable asset to offset the increased debt.

The production possibility curve, would have been moved outward.

Pathetic. A Great, Let's get behind the Leader and "Pass This Bill" in order to see how we pay for it.

We have seen this pack of lies before.

Seriously, count on the Super Committee to find another .5 trillion to cut when they will not find the previous cuts? Wait 2 more weeks to see how else we can pay for it ?

He doesn't know how to pay for it, he's reaching that the R's & D's can come together on raising taxes and cutting BS stuff. Same old crap they couldn't come together previously.

That's not a plan, that's more " Hope " for a " Change ".

2 1/2 years later he wants to get serious about jobs? He could have passed any really good job plan in the 1st 2 years. But his agenda was top priority, jobs were secondary over idea - log.

Reality check for the blame Obama crowd:

A few years ago, Kenneth Rogoff and Carmen M. Reinhart wrote the definitive guide to the current economic downturn, a book called “This Time Is Different.” Rogoff and Reinhart studied data from eight centuries of financial crises. They found that banking-crisis recessions are worse than normal recessions. They last longer.

In these recessions, it took an average of six years for housing prices to stop their decline. Unemployment rates were high or rising for an average of five years. Government debt increased by an average of more than 86 percent.
