FB Shane Bannon released
The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Saturday that the team has added OL Lucas Patterson to the practice squad. The club released FB Shane Bannon from the practice squad.
Patterson (6-4, 295) originally entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with Kansas City in 2011. He played in 50 games (38 starts) at Texas A&M as a defensive lineman, tallying 131 tackles (56 solo), 10.0 tackles for loss (-32.0 yards), 4.5 sacks (-21.0 yards) and one pass defensed. He prepped at Kingsville High School in Kingsville, Texas.
Chiefs just violated the bro code.

Is this another project experiment?
The Lucas Patterson Experience?
Says they signed OL Lucas Patterson, and then it goes on the say he started DL at Texas A&M blah blah had some tackles blah blah. Is this another on of those "versatility projects" ala Quinten Lawrence
the good news is: they parted ways with Shane Bannon thank god

Any player on the practice squad is a project. The odds are very very low of a practice squad guy ever becoming a regularly productive player.

Going to Yale isn't about being smart. Going to Yale is about having family connections. This time next year he'll be issuing buy orders for the next Enron and pulling down $5 million in bonuses.
