Vikings are giving up 3.1 YPC.

Come at us, bros.

Count Zarth

1) Pressure off the edge

If the left side of the Lions’ defensive line caused the Vikings headaches on offense then the Minnesota defensive end pairing of Jared Allen and Brian Robison did that and more to the Detroit offense. Allen and Robison were terrors to the Lions’ offense in both run and pass games as they combined for a +4.2 grade in run defense and registered five sacks, two hits and six pressures in pass rush. Whoever the Lions’ lined up at tackle they simply couldn’t live with this pairing and played a large part in limiting the Lions’ vertical threat in this game as Stafford simply didn’t have time to set and throw deep.

Count Zarth

Minnesota's OL is a horrible sack of shit in pass blocking...27 pressures and 7 sacks....hoping that doesn't turn this game.

The Vikings have led all of their games, only to lose them in the second half. They are a better team no doubt. Also gotta remember than on top of all of our injury woes to this point, Flowers will not be playing. That means our soft run defense just got a bit softer. Purple Jesus will roll on us.

Count Zarth

AP will have more rushing yds than Cassel will have passing yds and Allen and Robison total sack count combined at the end of the game will be higher than Cassel's QB rating.

Were in good hands we will definitely lose this game.

Nah, I feel pretty confident that we lose this one. It's the Colt game that worrries me because literally you will have 2 teams that totally suck that need a QB in the worst way competing for Luck. This could be a very comical game of literal nobody wants to win "hot potato":thumb:

We will have 3 turnovers. 1 INT, 1 McFumble, and 1 Cassel getting sacked fumble forced by Allen.

Edit: The INT will occur as follows: Cassel will be under NO pressure, Bowe will be open on a seam up the sideline, Cassel will ignore Bowe and throw to Pope over the middle 12 yards out, the ball will be severely overthrown and behind the receiver and it will go directly to the safety.

It's really not hard to understand.

Us many fans feel that our team right now is not good enough for the playoffs and that if we win a couple of games, we won't be able to draft an elite QB prospect (top 5-10 pick).

We feel that this team will continually struggle every year if we keep Cassell as our starting QB or some other average QB. On the other hand, if we can draft Luck or another top QB prospect, the future will be bright (even if that QB prospect is to struggle at first).

It's really a case of wanting to take a step back in order to make big leaps forward the next years.

To make it short, there is a ton more chances that the Chiefs win a SuperBowl in the near future if they can draft Luck than if they keep going the way it is (with an average to bottom 5 QB). And we know Luck might become a bust but we still feel it's our best chance to become a dominant team.

CB Brandon Flowers worked with the No. 1 secondary in Thursday’s practice and appeared to be moving much better on his injured right ankle than 24 hours earlier. We have been down this road before n00b, very recently. If Luck ends up on the team, I will be rooting for him. If he doesn't end up on the team, I won't. Simple really.

And if we don't get him, it won't be the end of the franchise. I really, really, really, hope we get rid of Cassell for someone competent but I am not going to root against my team to accomplish it. Luck is not the only option here. Heck Stanzi could be the answer, I don't know. But seeing GifHorse being disappointed that Flowers is not too badly hurt and may be able to play is what I find disgusting. He is rooting for players on this team to be hurt and unable to function in their job. Blech.

Personnally, I want the defense to play as good as possible, considering it will be pretty much the same unit next year. On the other hand, I wish Cassel keeps struggling which makes our whole offense struggle so that we can be in a good position to draft an elite QB prospect. Then, our offense will be much improved.

Minnesota's OL is a horrible sack of shit in pass blocking...27 pressures and 7 sacks....hoping that doesn't turn this game.

Looks like the Chiefs may have figured out how to get pressure last week. We might actually win and throw the suck for luck crowd into a hissy fit.

Somehow I don't think he would care about the neg rep.

I really hate rooting against this team! If it werent for luck, I wouldnt either.

Last week, vs the chargers, I couldnt help but hope that we would score a last second TD beating the chargers...then matt shit the bed and threw it away just as quickly. Set me straight after that. Luck or bust.

Yeah, because, the rest of us are rooting against them for another reason.

I agree, and have hated Cassel since about his third game as a Chief. But there is no way I can root against this team.

Cuss them, get pissed, sure, but I still want to see a win every time they kick it off.

It has, on more than one occasion, come to my attention that Mr. GoChiefs possesses no empathy for those who suffer from either injury or illness, Mr. Hydrae.

I fear that Mother Karma will soon pay him a visit ... or maybe Mama Cass.

They say that if you wait until midnight, then light a candle, enter the bathroom, gaze into the mirror, and whisper Mama Cass' name out loud three times while holding a meatloaf on white bread with extra mayo sandwich above your head, she will appear out of nowhere ... or possibly the toilet.

And if we don't get someone like him, the likelyhood of Cassel being the starter next year is very high.

I think we are all passionate about this team enough that some are willing to say lose every game this year for the better of the future. I too, won't sit there and cheer for the other team, but I'm done getting all excited about a bad team scoring touchdowns.

I view every positive move on offense as another step toward Matt Cassel staying.

Yeah, that's absurd.

The Chiefs D-lines of the early 2000s were terrible.

We'll lose, pretty sure of that, but something still tells me cassel will have one of his fluke 300 yard games... thus giving Pioli the evidence he wants to keep the ham & egger on the field for several more games.

I'll bet 100k in cc that the chiefs win this game. Anyone up for it?
I have no doubt that they have found they're very average mojo and they'll finish 7-9 this year.
