Maybe worth a look? I don't know a whole lot about him, but the way things are it has to be worth a shot.

He's better than Jackie Battle, so hell yes bring him in.

We won't, though. He'll go backup in New England or Green Bay, or some other such place.

Yeah I remember for a while him being a pretty popular name and a pretty solid back

He's a 4th year guy, so he goes through waivers.

How is he at quarterback?

When does the waiver order change from last seasons record... To this years in season record?

If he can stay healthy he'd be a nice pickup.

He has problems holding on to the football. There are rumors that he has some type of nerve damage and when he gets hit, it causes his arm to go numb. At this point he could be part of the RBBC in KC.

Slaton would do Dick here. He did Dick in Houston and he sure as hell wouldn't do anything here.

Jesus people, just because a player isn't a chief that doesn't make him good.

He had 1 good year in Houston. That player still might not do well in KC because the Texans have a zone blocking scheme and a real passing game.

Slaton>Battle

Upgrade. And he's a much better fit than Battle/Jones/McClain with our offensive line. What's it gunna hurt?

Slaton = Battle.

He is no different than what we already have. Two yards and a cloud of shit.

We are talking RB's, not Cassel's deep game.

Dude had the fastest fall from grace I've ever seen. He was a hot commodity that came out of the blue and he was supposed to be the next big thing and then the next year came around and I don't think he was even a starter.

Had one good year then fell off the map, possibly from injuries? Seems to be the trend in Houston with Foster the way he is this year.

He started fumbling. People say he was hurt in his second year and didn't let on to the team how bad it was. I actually think he does have a little game left in him, but Kubiak was done with him down there.

He was a great wire pick up for my fantasy team. Helped me win my league his rookie year.

And once again this thread turns into a Cassel bitch fest.

We don't need any new blood coming in here and wrecking shit up. We almost won a meaningless game last week. Let this team stay the course and continue to suck.

Pretty sure he had a Manning-type neck problem, so he's probably done. And therefore perfect for us.

He was electric in college and had a good rookie year. Then he got hurt, had fumbling problems, and became teh suck.

No thanks.

Id love slaton here. He had an excellent rookie season, had a sophomore slump with a couple fumbles and they gave up on him.

He's as thick as Thomas Jones but he has speed. Very talented back.
