Anyone check out the newest offering from Anthrax? I know a lot of bands that have been around for this long start to lose their ability to write good music. But this album is back to the old school. I'm loving it.

I'll give Belladonna credit for sounding as good as he does for songs that weren't written for him. There's some nostalgia moments in there for sure, but I don't have any desire to spin it again. From a rock point of view, it's solid, from a thrash point of view, its doesn't compete with what's out there now.

I wish they'd bring back John Bush. Listen to "What Doesn't Die" off of Volume 8, the Threat is Real, and tell me Joey can carry his luggage.

There is some good stuff on this album. In The End is a killer track

I actually like "Lesser of Two Evils", which is the album that's off of, but I get your point. On the same token, I'm pretty sure Joey wouldn't quite do Bush-era crushers like "This is Not an Exit" justice either.
