Inexcusable for Mizzou to lose this game given the talent differential, but Pinkel is a poor gameday coach as we've all known for years.

Snyder has KSU back to where he wants them. They will win 9 games this year easy.

gg kstate, mizzou undoubtedly played poor non-enthusiastic football for the most part of the game today. Franklin sucks at leading, throwing accurately, and energizing his teammates early on in the game. As usual the play calling was inconsistent. We weren't really ready to play until the 3rd quarter(which I'd also blame on the coaches). You guys were alot more prepared than us; even though we had one extra week to prepare... Matt White is Mizzous version of McGraw. We couldn't stop the option.

Stewie, if the SEC didn't want MU, the Sec or Mizzou would've already reported it. As of now, tigerboard isn't saying anything about it. Understandable because you don't grade a program based one one game. Especially one at an away venue against a ranked opponent; KSU is not a pushover football team anymore, close loss to ASU, and a 10 point loss to the #1 overall team.

Depends on your definition. If you're referring strictly to passing ability, it's easily CK.

Texas' QB's are freshmen making freshman mistakes. Don't confuse that with talent.

CK has willed his team to 2 of the 5 W's, but from a QB talent standpoint, he's by far the worse QB in the league.

I don't know. Coffman was even more terrible than CK, IMHO. Yeah, Coffman probably is better on passing, but CK wins hands down on running.

I'll take CK over Coffman anyday anytime.

I guess Im not getting all the hate on Franklin...weren't we all just praising him the last 3 weeks? He had a rough game on the road against a good defense in his 5th start...Im disgusted we lost, but really, we should have expected a 6-6 type year w/ a 1st yr QB and a tougher schedule...

I thought Franklin was great against OU & ASU...showed a lot of promise. He had a bad game today...Daniel had bad games his 1st yr starting. Oh, and it doesn't help with our pass protection and play-calling.

It was as obvious a 15 yarder as you'll see. The MU guy plowed into him. Also, Egnew's elbow wasn't down. On the TV, they showed one angle of the replay 5 times. The last one they showed from across the field was the best one, and pretty clearly showed his right arm was moving up toward the ball, not to the ground. Oh well, close call.

The punter was VIOLATED. The guy practically split him down the middle, one of the worst hits on a punter I have ever seen.

I think the first over turn was correct, but not the second one. If anything, Mizzou sure didn't get homered by the refs on this game.

The punter was VIOLATED. The guy practically split him down the middle, one of the worst hits on a punter I have ever seen.

It was a penalty and all but this gave me an early morning laugh.

I guess the fact that our punter got right up afterwards led me to believe it wasn't that bad.

Side note, love Mizzou's offensive coordinator.

I figured it was because he was an actual football player unlike most other punters who flop and flail after getting touched.

I don't understand the Franklin hate. He's probably the best dual threat QB you'll have and he's perfectly suited for the college game.

What I do not understand is the offensive system. I know it's won a lot of games but it seems to lack the physical nature you need at times. It seems like an offense that just wants to win the edges and it breeds what I feel is soft team on the OLine side of the ball, and possibly on the DLine side also. But I can't say enough about how well MU's D played.

Frequently, Cosh left the middle wide open as ABrown was moved out to cover in the slot or over the TE. Any OC worth his salt would have exploited that QB draws or something until Cosh adjusted. Inistead you ran that Josey sweep play and while it was succesfull for a time, it's just .... soft.

Anyway, good game and I'm glad my guys won. Losing 5 straight to MU was plenty and winning was overdue.

From Franklins facebook:Mizzou fans; I am sorry about my performance on Saturday. But don't lose faith in your Missouri Tigers! We will get better!

After watching the final quarter on DVR, I noticed that Pinkel kinda snubbed the OBZ on the post game handshake.

Course OBZ probably wanted to chat about sans a belt slacks or something....
