Man. Would have loved to see the Lions give Best the ball 20 times on the ground today....

He might have worn down as the game went on, but he could have set some serious records.

Everyone always talks about the Bears having such a great defense. Didn't AP torch them for 280 or something a couple years ago?

I'm not sure you can think not to do that in the heat of the competitive moment. It can be instinctual.

This. They just grab whatever they can to stop the player.

Peterson set the NFL record of 296 rushing yards his rookie year against the Chargers.

224 Vs the Bears his rookie year.

You might be right, but Tillman's a veteran. I watched the play slow-mo and he intentionally put both hands on the collar and pulled for just a second. Enough to get Best to fall over and let go as soon as he started going down. I'm thinking it was intentional.

He didn't say "I'm going to grab him by the collar!". It just happened. He just grabbed what he could to prevent a TD.

IDK about that Bears game though.

Hmmm. I'm too lazy to look but I'm about 92% sure AP went for 220+ against the Bears a couple years ago...

These games expose teams. The Bear's defense is old and lacks depth. The O Line is just plain fraudulant. Stealing paychecks.

He's already more than a decent QB, IMO. Look at what he's still able to do despite facing natural disaster every time he drops back to pass.

Jerry Angelo is a literal retard.

"Hey lets trade a lot for this QB and surround him with subpar receivers and no blocking what so ever! It's cool though brah, I'll have my equally as retarded Head Coach hire a pass first coordinator lol"

Meh, looks like I'll win by four points, barring any stat corrections from tonight's game. The way the Bears were refusing to tackle Best, I figured he'd pop another one.

The last time the Lions won a playoff game was 91. This season is shaping up like that one. The division winners that year were the Skins, Lions, Saints, Bills, Oilers, and Broncos. It's the circle of life, maybe.

No mention of the QB difference between them and us? Nothing?

Think that's a bit of an oversight not to point that out if you're comparing the two. As long as Stafford stays healthy, they'll stay competitive.

It will be interesting to see how it all shakes out for Detroit considering that they're in Green Bay's division. I think they've got to be more of a wildcard contender than contending for the division, but you never know. Hopefully they'll keep it up and make it a fun race to watch.

i agree
the FO for the Bears should be fined by the league office for putting such a crappy line together.

and Detroit's starting to draft well and all those top 5 picks are showing up to play, Congrats to them for being 5-0.

Foolish. First, they have played, TB and Dallas on the road. Both, formidable opponents. Chicago was 2-2 and a division opponent.

And, the rest of the schedule has some pretty tough games as well.

They still have two games against Green Bay. They stll have Atlanta and New Orleans. They have Chicago again IN Chicago. They have the Chargers. Oh, and their next game is against a stolid 49er team.

So, they play a ton of hard games including two against the defending Super Bowl Champions that also happen to be the best team in the game so far this year.

Yep.... cakewalk.

Wait until the playoffs, when we see the stat line,"Here are a list of teams that have not won a playoff game in X amount of time."

Detroit has a great chance of getting off the list that includes Cincy, Cleveland, and ....KC.....

Vick's biggest problems are he's inaccurate, injury prone and he still can't read a defense.
