What proven coach would be better? Are we going to go with a Coach that is unproven or get a College coach that will need to learn on the fly? Jeesh... Pioli is the one that needs to go! His drafting doesn't seem to be the best.... But he has to blame someone

Other than 2009, how has his drafting not been good?

It's a repost, yet worthy of its own thread because no one is too concerned about Nick Wright.

Anyway, probably bullshit, but there's a shit ton of smoke about those two not getting along. We'll see...

Well, technically you could be correct. No repost, since you've posted a link from nfl.com.

The other reports are in the Nick Wright thread. Same story. Not the same link.

Nick reported it on the radio today and it was brought up in the thread about him

1 bad round in 2 years. I'll take that.

and it has been reported that he doesn't have the best relationship with his Pioli.LOL. Its bad when a man and his Pioli aren't in harmony.

Perhaps it doesn't have any thing to do with the team and its record, but Pioli thought it would be a good time to go ahead and fire him(if the Chiefs would have lost Sunday). Everyone knows if and when he does, there won't be any discussion by Pioli on the reasons for termination other than the standard bull shit line

I can't believe NFL.com decided to run with this story.

Look, if Pioli wanted to fire him last week then he shoulda fired his ass, win or lose.

IF, and that's a BIG IF, this story is true then I wouldn't wanna deal with kind of drama hanging over my team all year.

This appears to be a story that will never die until Haley either:

A. Wins
B. Gets Fired

Pioli needs to be the first chump told to leave. He can take his bitch Cassel with him too. Don't let the door hit ya in the ass.

This article reads like total bullshit. Forgive me if I don't trust "multiple sources."

Also, this whole "where there's smoke" thing doesn't convince me much either. Sometimes, where the media is concerned, where's there's smoke, they create more smoke.

Well I agree with the whole off season easy training camp theory as the main culprit to the slow / bad start. However, Mr. Pioli is still sitting on $30+MILLION in cap space which sure could have purchased some quality depth.

I agree.

But if it is true then I wish they would fucking divorce already.

I wonder if the Chiefs PR machine will address this.

Pioli has already come out and denied it.

Kind of weird that NFL would run with it. I mean, if Pioli wanted Haley gone, he'd do it. Beating the winless Colts wouldn't change that fact.

He's a knee-jerk fool if thats true.

The start WAS horrible, but tell me even Vince Lombardi's teams wouldnt have struggled losing Nitschke & Starr in consecutive weeks... that'd throw any team into a tailspin.

i hate when they bring up our 3 big injuries are a result of the way he handled camp. Sorry, but falling on your knee and your knee going out doesnt have anything to do with poor conditioning. I highly doubt Moeaki was in poor condition anyways.

Either way, someone at NFL.com is about to learn a hard lesson about the joke that is KC sports media

Yeah, Arrowhead Pride interviewed Pioli on this very subject. He denied it to be true

I really don't believe this rumor.

I can possibly believe that Haley can be prickly and some people under him don't like him and are willing to plant rumors.

Pioli has refused to shampoo his head until Haley is fired

Haley insists things are OK with Pioli. A source within the organization calls their relationship “business and respectful, but not warm or buddy-buddy,” and that second part is bound to be amplified on a team that’s taken historical gut-kickings the first two games following last year’s AFC West title.
