Joe Randa, Tim Grundhard, QB Chiefs. Just a few who are attatched forever in Kansas City. Does Derrick Johnson have what it takes to be remembered like them? Or is his draft position and hype bog him down.

I'm going to take the more moderate assessment of "Underacheiver"

Johnson is an ok LB who will never live up to his ability because he's simply refuses to be physical when the moment is the most intense. He was soft when he was at Texas and has gotten better but...

Tren Green was no Elvi Grbac.

And we can all thank Go for that.

How does Luck figure in all this?

You know, since he ends up in the discussion somehow in every other fucking football thread on here.

You need to hang out in the conference realignment thread, I don't think he has been brought up there. :D

Do you think he is remember fondly by the fan base, like getting on TV, Radio, Chiefs Insider etc? Or you think he is totally banished to people hating him.

I think his legacy will result from his play going forward. Still, he has done some damage in my mind by underachieving for the first four or five years of his career. So he would have to play pretty epicly to become a hero in my mind. But he is well above a zero at this point.

His dropped INT passes may stand out in peoples minds as well. Always in position, but only finishes 10% of those INT's.

DJ is playing the best ball of his career and finally being used in a way that exploits his talent...

I don't think DJ has blitzed once this year. Which is good need him sideline to sideline not getting sucked up by a Lineman, I still like his chances against a rb when he blitzes.
