At this point I'm rooting hard for the Dolphins. Somebody I know could not in any way justify trading the pick to Denver.

Eh, they havent won a SB almost as long as we have. Good for them

I hope we still try to draft some type of quarterback either way

It's looked this way since week 1. There's a lot of bad football being played this year. And it isn't getting much better.

**** that noise! At least they had Marino...who've we had? Trent Green? Yea, he was good for about 3 years...3 YEARS... They had Marino for 16 years.

This team needs to draft a franchise QB if they ever want to get to the next level.

That really works on both ends too, especially in the AFC. Your favorites are the Pats who can't play defense, the Ravens who have some serious questions at QB, and the Chargers who usually sleepwalk through everything.

Its been that way for the past few years for some reason.

Back when the chargers drafted Manning (before they traded him to the Giants) they had the worst record at 4-12....that might have been the last time that THAT was the worst record. Its gotta be a conspiracy!

Brees went 2-9 that year. Don't know if that was prior to his injury or if he was that bad because of it. They had to play a game in AZ because of the fires. That team was 0-5 going into the bye.

Out of that 60 million dollar contract, Cassel has probably spent 15 million of it on Fruit of the Loom

And fuck Miami too. Shithole city with no fan support, they don't deserve him. The least of all the evils IMO would be the Vikings.

Or Indy.

Agreed. Definitley don't want Indy getting him. They had Manning for all those years. They don't deserve him. Colts fans should suffer for awhile.

Miami is really bad. There is no way they win a game this year.

That doesn't bother me.

My reasons for not wanting him in Denver is it will destroy this place for me.

Marino and no SB.
Every 2 years there starter goes down for the season.
Tried Green.
I mean hell I might feel more sorry for them, no?

Burfict, I'd guess. The Chiefs are prob. gonna end up winning too many games to nab a QB.

How can we be pissed about any team getting Luck as long as it isn't Denver?! We are out so the only thing left is to make sure a team gets the #1 pick that won't trade it to anybody so Elway can't give up the franchise for him.

Burfict is a mess on the field. Uncontrollable. He cost ASU a lot of points on Saturday due to several late hit, unecessary roughness penalities.

If we went MLB, I'd much rather Luke Kuechly of Boston College, who is having an absolute monster year so far - easily on pace to lead the NCAA's in tackles (as he did last season). He's not as big as Burfict, but he's a lot more instinctive and makes a ton more plays.

How odd would it be if Miami axed Ireland after the season and hired King Carl, who would then do what he never was able to do in KC, which is draft a franchise QB...

Nobody is a lock yet. There's several bad teams out there. Nobody can get their coaches and players to throw a season. Too many jobs/contract clauses/stuff on the line. The only way to do it is to trade away good players or start bad QBs over average ones *coughDENVERcough*

I'll take an NFC team over any AFC team, that's for sure. As between 'phins/Indy/Dungver, then I'll have him go to the Colts first, then Dungver, then the 'phins. Screw having any Brady-competition in the AFC East anytime in the next, say, 10 years. :D

Brady isn't getting any younger. I dont think he has 10 years left. Maybe another 5.
