Kind of a different take on this particular draft. I list the talent I'd be willing to take at every pick, and then select my favorite player from that group (although later picks will, of course, be influenced by earlier picks).

Assuming we pick #9 overall.

I've tried to keep all my options realistic (for instance, I didn't list Nick Foles as an option in round 1 or 2 because I believe he's bottom-first talent).

I'm okay with rnd 1.

But -eh- on the rest....

You aren't addressing the OL 'till the 7th rnd, and you are picking up a RB in the 3rd?

OH NOES we will never win without investing in the OL!! OH NOES!!1!

Upgrade at the QB position (which I did in this draft), and many of the OL problems will ease up.

That said, I can't address every single position we need help at in one draft.

For instance, my draft has almost nothing at the team's biggest non-QB weakness: passrusher.

I'd much rather see

1) Riley Reiff, OT, Iowa
2) Ryan Tannehill, QB, Texas A&M
3) Josh Chapman, DT, Alabama or Dontari Poe, DT, Memphis (which ever is still there)

Or, if Tannehill is no longer on the board by the time we pick in the second

1) Riley Reiff, OT, Iowa
2) Peter Konz, C, Wisconsin or Michael Brewster, C, Ohio State
3) Josh Chapman, DT, Alabama or Dontari Poe, DT, Memphis
4) Kirk Cousins, QB, Michigan State

Or, if the Chiefs go the 1st round QB route

1) Doesn't matter which QB as long as its one of the consensus top 4
2) Peter Konz, C, Wisconsin or Michael Brewster, C, Ohio State
3) Nate Potter, OT, Boise State

Kirk Cousins? Jfc

Yes, Kirk Cousins. The once second round projection that is going to drop like a rock because he has no one to throw to.

Champions are built with QB's that nobody wants.

I think we will be in a position to get Barkley. We prob won't win another game this year. If that's the case I'd take him in the first for sure.

Then I'd take Hightower or one of the two C's in the 2, Chapman or Poe in the 3rd, David Wilson in the 4th if he lasted that long or whatever is your highes rated rb in that round. Then oline or BPA the rest of the way.

It woudl be great if Stanzi worked out as that would free us up to pretty much go BPA in the first.

Reilly Reiff? Really? Hope you're thinking RT. Also, isn't Hudson a good enough C for you? Why does everyone want to move him to guard?

Because Lilja needs to go too?

Why move Hudson to C when you can draft one of the dominant college C's and keep Hudson at guard?

I would really like to have Chapman at NT. He's a monster.

You should factor in FA also

In FA, I would really like us to go after Michael Griffin or Laron Landry at S, Ben Grubbs at LG letting Hudson play C and Gaither at RT.

Hell I wouldn't be upset if they wanted to throw a big contract at Jermichael Finley either, the way the league is trending at TE.

I think Forte is outa Chicago but I wouldn't pay him the money he will want.

If we did get Laron Landry (Although I don't see any way Snyder lets him out) would you move Berry to FS and have him roam the field?

Hell yeah I would.

The dude is athletic enough to play either spot. A safety combo of Landry and Berry would be pretty dynamic. They you could bring Lewis in for Nickel situations and have Landry take over McGraws role.

Direkshun, I actually really like this draft. Replace Chapman with the T from BYU and it would be better IMO. I think Chapman or Te'amu last until the 3rd.

Draft a QB and a NT 1 and 2? Love to see it, but Pioli is so good he wins without drafting the most important position on either side of the ball. LMAO
