View Full Version : Football Poll:Would you like to see GB go undefeated and top the dolphin's perfect season?

IMO it would be a greater accomplishment now because the NFL is more competitive and the season is 16 games. I know they still have to come to Arrowhead but the season is lost so screw it.

Remaining schedule:

@ DET
@NYG
OAK
@KC
CHI
DET

I say yes only because I hated that 72 dolphin team. Poll to follow.

Green Bay is losing to Detroit on Thanksgiving.Having to play DET twice and at the giants are probably their biggest hurdle. If they can get through the next two weeks I think they might do it.

They don't seem like a juggernaut. You'd have to think that Detroit has a shot at them, but you never know. I'd like to see them do it, because it would shut up the Dolphins, relegate that Patriots team to a further footnote, and demonstrate, without a doubt, the best way to build a team.

If you're voting yes to this, you're voting for GB to win the Super Bowl, too - not just the games listed in the OP. New England already did the 16-0 thing; it's 19-0 that matters.

I think the bears beat them on christmas day. I'm pretty high on the bears right now... they got a nasty defense. If they would just get Cutler some weapons and an O-Line watch out

I'd just like for Bobby Bell, Willie Lanier, Otis Taylor, Fred Arbanas, Len Dawson, et al, to fill an empty Korbel bottle with piss, re-seal it, and send it those fuggers, wishing them a warm Christmas next year, after GB does it.

I doubt it. Small market team with a non-asshole coach and a modest, likable quarterback.

But besides that, who hates the Patriots? They win, with good coaching and a good qb, it's not like they're the Yankees and just spend more money than everyone else.

If people hate the Pats it's probably because Belichik, not their winning. They haven't won anything in a while anyway.

I guess I don't get it. The NFL and TV Networks do shove them down our throats a lot, so I guess there is that. I don't know, I just don't really hate any other football teams outside our division.

Also, my freshman year of college they beat the Rams in the Super Bowl. The STL tears were flowing like wine that night in Columbia. That's probably why they'll always have a place in my heart.

I don't really care but there are 3 reasons I wouldn't mind seeing it.

1. I like and have a lot of respect for Aaron Rodgers
2. I hate Brett Favrah and the would enjoy the subtle screw you to him that it would be... much like last years SB but even better... he only won one for being such a legend.
3. Mercury Morris is annoying when the last team losses every year. Shut up dumbass it's not like you went undefeated yourself but somehow you're the guy who's always popping champagne and cheesing for the camera once your teams record is safe.

The more I think about it... yes... Go Packers!

Fuck the Packers. They crushed my Patriots back in '96. They just won a Super Bowl. I hate the Lambeau Leap, and "the frozen tundra", and the Cheeseheads, and hearing about how passionate their fans are. (Like, as if you lived in frigging Green Bay, there'd be something ELSE to focus on.) I want them to go 18-1 so the Patriots don't have to live in that hell by themselves, LOL.

I hate the Patriots because I've known 3 of their fans personally, and they are total assholes. Probably a bad reason to hate an otherwise successful organization, but I can't stand their cocky ass smug east coast bastard fans.

If they are still undefeated by the time the playoffs roll around...sure. Why not. I hate Mercury Morris.

I also probably won't hate them any more than any other team in the playoffs, so I guess I hope they accomplish it. I still hope they lose in the regular season. To us.

The Patriots success isn't just annoying for the fact that it turned ESPN into their own personal Pravda, the most damaging part is that it further sunk our franchise into ruination.

Do you really think the Chiefs are going to beat Green Bay this year anyway? I don't, since the fact that the Chiefs play the Packers doesn't affect how I voted in the poll.

I voted yes, because I too am sick of the 1971 Dolphins and Mercury Morris. Mercury Morris is just an ex-cocaine trafficker with a big mouth.

I actually bet against the Dolphins in the 1971 Super Bowl. They barely squeeked by in the AFC playoffs while the Redskins were winning their NFC playoff games by blowouts.

Of course the Chiefs are going to beat the Packers. They're the Chiefs. The good guys. The heroes. The heroes always win in the end.

The title is misleading. They wouldn't top the Dolphins. Nobody beat the Dolphins. I watched that team and don't need to see history repeat itself. I don't think the Packers can do it. Their defense just doesn't do enough. Someone is going to figure out how to hold back the Packers offense enough. They may have to win 38-35, have a game like the puntless game we had against the Colts. It will probably be someone we don't really expect. No, it won't be the Chiefs.

I say no, because my bud is a diehard 'fins fan, and it's funny when he brings up the greatest team ever even though it happened 7 years before he was born.

AND, smack about the '85 Bears would move from '72 Dolphins to '11 Packers. There's too many cheese-heads here in central Illinois.
