In 2001 we lost 9 in a row after starting 5-2.

In 2002 we lost 4 in a row after starting 8-4.

In 2003, I think we started 0-5.

I think that was the last time.

I'm just really starting to not like Rivers as a QB. He acts a decent part, but continues to make critical mistakes. Hes Jeff George reincarnated.

On one hand: the beaten-up Kansas City Chiefs, with a crap quarterback and missing their all-world running back, promising tight end, and amazing safety.

On the other hand: the supposedly talent-laden San Diego Chargers, with Philip Rivers and Norv Turner, underachieving for yet another year.

Where is the Fail strongest?

"San Di-E-Go...Su-per Chaaaaargers!"

How the fans there haven't run Norv out of town yet is a friggin' mystery. But God bless 'em, I hope they keep that pizza-faced moron in charge for eternity. Every year he's there is another year you can just check the Chargers off the "potential Super Bowl team" list...

You couldn't really say that until this season.

He's turned into an INT machine, which is odd for him.

Norv calling a timeout, then challenging a call and losing a second timeout on the same play has to be one of the stupidest coaching decisions I think I have ever seen

Don't Remember exactly when it was but either Herm or Todd did that a few years back.

I thought wtf are you doing taking a timeout then challenging and losing.

Apparently coaches do not watch other coaches fail.

Amazing.... a QB actually needs talent around him to be effective. Who would have thought?

Now, I know there are elite QB's that transcend the level of talent around them. However, that list is VERY short.

I think Rodgers is the top of the list. After that, probably Brady.

Then? Maybe Big Ben. That's really about it.

How is Manning not at the top of this list? The only thing I can think of is he was so good at rising the cumulative talent on his team, that it caused you to overlook his team, since they are playing so poorly without him.

We won because of our great defense.

we won because of three fluke plays each worth 6 points.

And oh BTW, our D did play very well too, although one couldn't tell, judging by the commentator's slobbering all over the Bears D.

I would say the TD was a fluke, but McGraw's INT was no fluke. That was good defense, and Roy Williams dropping a pass, which is definitely not a fluke.

I don't know what the third play you're talking about is.

Probably that shit pass by Hanie to Knox(?) that had he connected on, would have been a surefire TD.

Actually I was referring to the Bears TD that was called back and the INT that bounced our way in the endzone.

I shouldn't have described them both as worth 6 points, given the fact that they kicked a FG on the former.
