Better, but Poe's stock is on the rise. People are starting to mock him earlier than Ta'amu. I doubt he lasts til the 3rd.

I think I liked the other one better Direkshun. I don't really want Egnew. He's a good TE but I like Charles a little more from Georgia. I think we need more of a blocker tho. I would take Chapman in the 2nd and Potter in the third at RT.

Also IMO if it were between RGIII and Barkley, I think I'd rather have RGIII. He seems to have more upside to me but Barkley is gonna be pretty good too.

Here pretty soon we are gonna have to start looking to replace DJ. Next 2 or 3 years soon I mean.

Egnew is the 6th would be a great pick. Round 2 out of all those options I'd almost pick Montee Ball dudes a beast and sign some veteran at right tackle.

I was thinking about that too. Chapman or Hightower could really bring alot to the defense in the second round.

Here's what I'd like us to do.

I highly doubt Kendall Wright lasts beyond early 2nd. He's the #4 receiver behind Blackmon, Jeffery, and Floyd, imo

I don't think he's the fourth yet. I think he might be but you also have Toon, Fuller, dude from Rutgers whose name escapes me who he would have to compete with. I'd love to have Wright as a slot guy.

We could go 4 wr sets with Bowe and Baldwin outside and Wright and Breaston inside.

Forget Wright, McNutt baby. I'd but a nut if our skill players were:

Bowe
Baldwin
Breaston
McNutt
Moeaki
Charles

Add a good power back and another TE to compliment Moeaki and just in case and it'd be pretty hard for even a young QB not to succeed.

What would that leave, possibly two lineman left to get?

Take the homer glasses of bro. Mcnutt is a good player but to say you would rather have him over Wright at this point is a little.....well homerish.

I've seen McNutt enough to know what he'll be.

So instead of an OT in the second, we could go Montee Ball. Wouldn't be upset with that.

This is what I am thinking, with the assumption we are drafting around 10th and no trades.

1) Landry Jones, QB, OU - Has the tools, fits Pioli's prototype, needs to sit behind Cassel/Orton for a year or 2.
2) Michael Brewster, C, Ohio State - Keep Hudson at G.
3) Josh Chapman, NT, Alabama - Ta'amu and Poe likely go 1/2. Chapman falls to the 3rd.
4) Matt Reynolds, OT, BYU - Richardson can **** off. I don't know if he lasts this long. I have seen him projected 3-late 4th soooo
5) Ladarius Green, TE, La-Lafayatte - More like a tall WR, needs to bulk up but he's definitely got the frame to do it.
6) Tauren Poole, RB, Tenn. - Averaged 5.1 yards in 2010. Hamstring has held him back this year.
7) Sean Cattouse, S, Cal - I have no idea where to go with this pick. I just no McGraw and Piscitelli can **** off aswell.

I generally like where you are going with this. I expect Matt Reynolds will be gone in the second, however.

I'd like to see us target Soliai and Grubbs in FA. That should provide further flexibility in the early rounds, which I happen to think are fairly strong in this draft. If we can't get RG3 or Luck, I'd just as soon go with Tannehill. I suspect you won't be able to trade back and get him on draft day, however, based on what happened with QBs last year. Sorta sucks.

Ya, we'll see. Just going off of where I've seen him projected and 4th, out of the way I was looking at the positions, was the best round to go about grabbing a OT.

My two cents. Sign NT Soliai and C Myers in FA. Trade 1 & 2 to move up for RG3 or Barkley. Either OT Reynolds or OT Moseley in the third and then use the remaining five picks for RB, TE and S depth. Think we're all in for a let down as I think Pioli believes Cassel is just fine for our QB.
