You guys need to realize. Orton doesn't perform well under pressure hence the conservative playcalling on that drive. Trying to score quick with time winding down isn't Orton's thing. He will panic and try to force throws. Muir just saved you guys a turnover. Be damn thankful.

Everyone's excited because we look like a legit offense. But our D just held a QB who is playing as good as anyone who has ever played to 6/17 and 59 yards in the first half. That is freaking impressive.

We're averaging less than 3.0 ypc on the ground. We pick that up and keep peppering in some throws from Orton we can win with this defensive performance.

I don't know what to think, but maybe this combination works.

I know it should be 21-0 at half, but there have been so many good things on the field after weeks of pure suck, this is an enjoyable game to watch.

Yep, I'm big on consistency and letting things develop but Orton is > Cassel and Romeo is > than Haley.

For the first half today at least.

And I second the props to the KC defense. If they want this performance to be remembered, however, they have to duplicate the effort in the second half.

You mistake hardon for joy at watching an actual qb on the field, even if just an average one. After Cassel and Palko, it's just exhillarating.
