Here's what needs to happen:

1. The Chiefs beat Oakland AND Denver.

2. The Broncos lose at Buffalo.

3. The Chargers lose one of their three remaining games.

That. Is. It.

Okay, so in what passes for your mind, 1 win and a playoff appearance = 100 times success of the team without the playoff appearance. LMAO

The difference today was the offense played well enough to keep the defense off the field and in decent field position.

Yes, and it was against the 31st ranked defense in yards against/game, not the 2nd or 3rd (Steelers or Ravens).. and as much as I'd love for them to win their last two at this point, it's another good reason to not think too far ahead.

The definition of over-reacting to today's win is thinking the Chiefs have a successful future if Romeo is the HC.

Romeo proved himself to be a garbage head coach in Cleveland.

And for those who want to create a Belicheck analogy (first head coaching job at Cleveland and second head coaching job at New England), that will get you an automatic DUMBASS branded on your forehead.

Belicheck had 100 times more success than Romeo had in Cleveland.

Romeo is Norv Turner and Wade Phillips. Great coordinators, horrible head coaches.

Man, I know Romeo is a big guy, but so is Wade....I don't think Romeo is both Wade and Norv.

This week, I think the Chargers lose @ Detroit ... Oakland loses @ KC and Denver should win @ Buffalo. If that happens, the Broncos are the division champs.

It's funny how, after last season's Seahawks/Rams Mediocre Bowl, NBC might get to choose from two more... Broncos/Chiefs or Cowboys/Giants. Of course, the latter would get the nod as long as the Giants don't lose to the Jets next weekend.

Seattle won their division last year with a point differential of -97 last year... the Chiefs are at -127 right now. :hmmm:

Bengals are 8-6 like the Jets are, and have a home game vs the Cards. Only one WC spot is up for grabs, so if the AFC West figures into the playoffs as a wild card, I would assume it would require 9 wins to get it done which eliminate us. AFC West or nothing for us.
