This thread is to separate you from those amateurs in League 1.

If you don't mind, introduce yourself (user name) and your team name and I'll put them in this post so everyone knows which teams are which.

From this point on, make your roster comments, trading block announcements, and other stuff in this thread. And good luck in the 2012 season!

Andchiefs - Seattle Undertakers
brorth - Corona Lights
Dartgod - Provo Lone Wolf Pack

I am The Provo Lone Wolf Pack. The franchise with the most creative team name in ANY league. So I got that going for me, which is nice.

Round Rock's Roster and Initial Depth Chart

Looking at my team, here's what I need and what I have for trade bait. I'm looking up players' starts and games played on pro football reference to see where I have depth and needs.

Overall, this team fared very well this year in terms of injuries. Our only real problem area is DT and the fact that we drafted inconsistently between a 3-4 and 4-3 D.

Trade bait:

Some spot starters at HB - Maurice Morris and Stephen Ridley

WR - Donald Driver, Titus Young, Mohammad Massaquoi, and Armanti Edwards are all viable players.

G - I have six guards who started or got good playing time. All are available except Brandon Moore.

For 3-4 D's, I can trade Chris Kelsay (OLB) and B.J. Raji (NT) and Stephen Bowen (DE), all good starters, but need a 4-3 DT and 4-3 DE in return.

Alternately, I can trade Kamerion Wimbley (OLB) and Andre Carter (DE) to a 4-3 D, but would need back a 3-4 ILB and 3-4 DE.

My needs

Starting fullback

Backup at LT, RT, and C

Starting punter

Maybe an upgrade at SS

Third CB or upgrade my starters

Starting DE and 2 DTs for a 4-3, OR starting ILB and DE for a 3-4.

Tony Romo QB
Kerry Collins QB
Tyler Thigpen QB

Strong here, and healthy.

Michael Turner HB
Kevin Smith HB
Maurice Morris HB
Ronnie Brown HB
Stevan Ridley HB

Not much depth, but Turner's a workhorse for us.

Tony Fiammetta FB
Madison Hedgecock FB

Might be a little light here as Fiametta only played in 10 games and Hedgecock is a goner.

Steve Johnson WR
Brandon LaFell WR
Donald Driver WR
Titus Young WR
Armanti Edwards WR
Mohamed Massaquoi WR

Have a ton of depth here.

Jeremy Shockey TE
Dave Thomas TE
Tony Moeaki TE

Shockey stepped up when Moeaki went down.

Rodger Saffold LT
Jamon Meredith LT

Got hit by injuries here. Need a backup.

Erik Pears RT

Not much depth, but have the starting position covered.

Brandon Moore G
Vernon Carey G
Chris Williams G
Stefen Wisniewski G
Chris Chester G
William Rackley G

Tons of depth here if anyone needs help. Tons of it. Every one of these guys has a lot of starts.

Eugene Amano C

Got it covered, and Rackley is our backup.

Phil Dawson K

Good shape here.

Reggie Hodges P

Strikeout. I need a punter.

Jairus Byrd FS
Madieu Williams FS

Pretty good shape here with not much depth.

Steve Gregory SS
Melvin Bullitt SS

Covered for most of the season, but have no coverage the last few games.

Sheldon Brown CB
Kareem Jackson CB
Marcus Trufant CB
D.J. Moore CB
Demarcus Van Dyke CB
Brandon Hogan CB

Got a couple of starters and some depth. Could use an upgrade, but generally okay.

Shaun Phillips OLB (3-4)
Kamerion Wimbley OLB
Chris Kelsay OLB (3-4)
Danny Clark OLB

No depth and will have some injury problems. Might need a backup.

Stephen Tulloch MLB
Dhani Jones MLB

Tulloch has me covered if we go 4-3, but Jones is retired.

Andre Carter DE
Stephen Bowen DE (3-4 DE)
Ray Edwards DE
Austen Lane DE
Raheem Brock DE

My DEs may be better suited for a 4-3, which is problematic. Might have to swing some deals to go one way or the other.

B.J. Raji NT
Kyle Williams NT
Pat Sims DT
Nick Hayden DT
Marvin Austin DT

This is trouble. Williams went down with an injury early, so I've got Raji and backups, and barely that. Need a starter here.

Rain Man

Columbia KC Hood Starz

Trade Bait:

Got Joshua Cribbs or Davone Bess at WR.

Shiancoe and Leonard Pope at TE.

Sam Baker at LT, for at least a partial season.

George Wilson at SS or maybe FS.

Could probably let Terrance Knighton go at DT if we got value back.

Team Needs:

Need a FB.

Need a RT.

Maybe a stopgap FS, but not vital.

Desperate for an OLB (4-3).

Someone to finish out the season at MLB.

Need a 4-3 DE.

Ryan Fitzpatrick QB
Todd Collins QB
Troy Smith QB

We'll give Fitzpatrick a long-term deal.

Steven Jackson HB
Pierre Thomas HB
Leon Washington HB
Brian Westbrook HB

Good here. Good starter, good backup, good third-down back.

Moran Norris FB
Ovie Mughelli FB

Not sure I can cobble a full fullback out of two injury cases.

Wes Welker WR
Vincent Jackson WR
Davone Bess WR
Joshua Cribbs WR
Sammie Stroughter WR

Love the receivers on this team. Quantity and quality.

Visanthe Shiancoe TE
Leonard Pope TE
Lance Kendricks TE

Got three starters here. Golden.

Jordan Gross LT
Sam Baker LT

Good here. Very good.

Corey Hilliard RT
Sean Locklear RT

Trouble here. Need a starter.

Jahri Evans G
Kraig Urbik G
Derrick Dockery G
Ben Ijalana G

Good here. Not much depth, but good.

Jonathan Goodwin C
Shaun O'Hara C

Good here. O'Hara is hurt, but Goodwin is good.

Mike Nugent K

Happy here.

Sam Koch P

Happy here, too.

Jim Leonhard FS
C.C. Brown FS
Chris D. Clemons FS

Not covered the whole season, but generally okay.

Adrian Wilson SS
George Wilson SS
Jon McGraw SS

Pretty strong here. McGraw got hurt, but the Wilson boys are iron.

Quentin Jammer CB
Andre' Goodman CB
Jacob Lacey CB
Kelvin Hayden CB
Shareece Wright CB
Chris Culliver CB

Reasonably strong here. Two full-time starters and a couple of backups. Lacey also started half the season.

Julian Peterson OLB
Daryl Smith OLB
Bryan Thomas OLB
Gabe Miller OLB

One starter and backups. Send help.

Jonathan Vilma MLB
Zak DeOssie ILB
Lance Laury ILB
Tim Dobbins ILB

Vilma would be fine if he'd finished the season. Need a little late-season help at MLB.

Will Smith DE
George Selvie DE
Matt Shaughnessy DE
Jimmy Wilkerson DE

Major trouble here. Not much after Will Smith.

Tommy Kelly DT
Terrance Knighton DT
Terrell McClain DT
Stephen Paea DT

Nice strong depth here. I like this group.

Rain Man

Anchorage Eskimos

Trade Bait:

I have 3/4ths of an extra LT. Could trade either Johnson or Okung.

Todd Herremans is a good RT.

Chris Spencer is available at C.

Israel Idonije is a good 4-3 DE.

Matt Toeaina and Leger Douzable are potential DTs for someone.

Also, I could trade Vince Wilfork and/or Muhammad Wilkerson for a 4-3 DT or other talent, but it'd better be a really good one.

Team Needs:

Wouldn't mind upgrading at QB.

Need a FB

Could use a #1 WR.

Could use an upgrade at punter.

Desperately need a FS.

Stopgap CB.

Need an OLB (4-3)

Colt McCoy QB
Jason Campbell QB
Greg McElroy QB

Um...Colt. Colt's our starter.

LeSean McCoy HB
Jason Snelling HB
Isaac Redman HB
Mikel Leshoure HB

Fine here. Move along.

Lousaka Polite FB
Reagan Mauia FB

Not much here. Need help.

Andre Roberts WR
Vincent Brown WR
Devin Hester WR
Hines Ward WR
Jacoby Ford WR
Terrell Owens WR

An odd group. Lots of speed, lots of injuries. And Andre Roberts is our #1.

Vernon Davis TE
Zach Miller TE
John Carlson TE

Not much depth due to injuries, but we're fine at starter.

Russell Okung LT
Charlie Johnson LT

Good shape here with two legit starters.

David Stewart RT
Todd Herremans RT
Jordan Black RT

Black's out of the league, but Stewart is good and Herreman is a starter.

Chris Snee G
Jacob Bell G
Jason Spitz C
Daniel Loper G

Good starters, but need some injury replacements.

Dominic Raiola C
Chris Spencer C

This works.

Jay Feely K
Garrett Hartley K

Feely steps in to replace the injured guy.

Matt Turk P

Barely stayed in the league. Might want some help.

Nick Collins FS

Boom. IR after two games. I need a body.

Charles Godfrey SS
Craig Dahl SS

Okay here.

Mike Jenkins CB
A.J. Jefferson CB
Benny Sapp CB
Leigh Bodden CB
Shawntae Spencer CB

Injury riddled. We can survive, but could use help.

Jarret Johnson OLB
Na'il Diggs OLB
Titus Brown OLB
Bruce Carter OLB

Need another starter. That's all there is to it.

Ray Lewis MLB
Nate Irving ILB

Got some injury problems, but the stabber is around most of the year.

Robert Mathis DE
Jabaal Sheard DE
Israel Idonije DE
Stylez G. White DE

We're golden here. Three guys with pass rush skills.

Vince Wilfork NT
Muhammad Wilkerson DT
Matt Toeaina DT
Leger Douzable DT
C.J. Mosley DT
Junior Siavii DT
Tony Brown DT

Rain Man

Trade Bait:

I could trade Michael Bush to someone needing a stopgap HB.

DeCoud at FS

Deon Grant as a partial-year guy (injury).

Paris Lenon is available at ILB.

I have two 3-4 ends I could trade - Dwan Edwards and Ryan Pickett.

I'm stacked at DT. Make me an offer for Corey Peter, Remi Ayodele, or Shaun Cody.

Team Needs:

A one-year QB would be good.

Need a FB.

Wouldn't mind a third receiver.

Wouldn't mind upgrading at LT.

Need a K.

Christian Ponder QB
Donovan McNabb QB
Kyle Boller QB

Well...going with the rookie. Let's see how it goes.

Jerome Felton FB
Heath Evans FB

Could use an upgrade here.

Larry Fitzgerald WR
Darrius Heyward-Bey WR
T.J. Houshmandzadeh WR
Ramses Barden WR
Niles Paul WR

We have size, speed, and great hands. And four other receivers behind him.

Dallas Clark TE
Kellen Davis TE
Kyle Rudolph TE

Pretty good group here. Veteran, goal line guy, and promising rookie.

J'Marcus Webb LT
Gabe Carimi LT

Webb is fine, kind of. What happened to Carimi?

Khalif Barnes RT
Lydon Murtha RT

Fine here.

Jason Pinkston G
Richie Incognito G
Kory Lichtensteiger G
Leonard Davis G

Couple of starters and an injured Lichtensteiger. We'll be fine.

Roberto Garza C
Mike McGlynn C

Garza's got it under control.

Joe Nedney K

Oops. Need a kicker.

Donnie Jones P

All is well.

Two good starters here.

Sean Jones SS
Deon Grant SS

Good shape here. Two starters, though one was hurt for a while.

William James CB

Great shape here with three starters and a good backup with Daniels.

Tamba Hali OLB
Erik Walden OLB

Okay on the starters here, and reasonable backups.

London Fletcher-Baker ILB
Paris Lenon ILB

Two good starters.

Robert Geathers DE
Dwan Edwards DE
Ryan Pickett DE
Dave Tollefson DE
Jamaal Anderson DE
Darryl Tapp DE
Trevor Scott DE
Gerard Warren DE

Three starters and a few pass-rushers. Lots of bodies here.

Kevin Williams DT

Independence is sending to Anchorage:

Shaun Cody
Paris Lenon
Dashon Goldson

Anchorage is happy because they upgrade at DT, get a stopgap starter at OLB, get a good starter at FS, and a situational pass rusher.

I thought I had a solid team with a great receiving corp. But Roethlisberger has been less than stellar, with almost as many INTs as TDs (12/11) and a 77.9 QB rating.

So I decided to put Rex Grossman in for a game to see if he made any difference. He did, but in a bad way.

23 of 41 for 210 yards and 2 ints, zero TDs.

The Provo Lone Wolf Pack will be sticking with Roethlisberger for the rest of the season.

He's marginally better than Christian Ponder right now, but with only two starts there's not much data. Independence is winning behind him, though, so he'll stay in. Ponder will learn on the bench for a while.
