This is like that one fat friend everybody has who tells an inside joke that's really not that funny and shared by only one person. When everybody else wants to know what's going on, the friend who knows it is too embarrassed to share how bad and fat it is, and the fat friend is just sitting there giggling to himself and won't say anything because he loves the trollery.

Fatyon's just having fun, that's all.

That's 1/2 of it.

Since at this point I don't see what good it does me to be registered as a democrat. There's no primary to vote in, I don't support most of the national politicians, I can at least make my vote count locally.

John King actually did Gingrich a great big fat favor by lobbing that softball the same way Bernard Shaw lobbed Dukakis a softball. The difference is Gingrich smacked a homer and Dukakis shit his pants.

The question was well expected and the answer well rehearsed. John King, though, looked like he shat his pants listening to the bullshit Newt tossed at him. A better newsman would have held his ground and asked it again.
