The way Clark/Pioli are running this franchise, blackouts may be just around the corner. If you give a rip (and I don't, since I'm not in market), the FCC is taking comments from the public through today.

I don't see how it would be the FCC's business.

I think once the teams take municipal funding they should forfeit the right to have blackouts. The people pay already.

Games that can be blacked out are played on public airwaves.

If they black out a game it normally means the team sucks, anyway, and you get to see a better game.

I licsense already paid for by the LOCAL broadcasting network. I don't see how the FCC can do anything about it that's legal.

We should just go back to the way it was before 1973 and black out all home games.

If the Chiefs throw Casshole out there again, it might be a mercy killing to black them out so we don't have to watch that shit

what are they going to do? Fine them? Unlikely. Make them do it? Impossible.

If a game gets blackedout. What happens to the advitisers who spent money?

As much as I hate government interference, someone needs to step in.

They priced the game outside of the average man. Then want to f him more with a blackout.
They make more money on advertising. Hell they discount tickets way past what they will sell to a person to go to the games.

I propose anything over 65% gets to be on tv as a median.

Is that true? I always thought they swapped out the game with another. Maybe I'm mistaken.
