On the official Chiefs website...guys saying you have to structure your offense around the weaknesses of Matt Cassel. Hilarious.

Yeah fucking dumb.

Then teams can just stuff the box first two downs, then force us to throw. Hell, phantom pressure will work on cassel. Maybe we can run a playaction offense... wait.. I forgot he is one of the worse PA qbs that I have ever seen.. Man our offense is going to suck next year, again.

Fuck....

Like Bad Guy said, there is alot of smoke going on about the qb spot for something not to happen.

I want to believe that, but something tells me, that history will repeat itself YET AGAIN, and will be stuck with Matt starting.

With all the bad press and bad pub that Cassel is getting, if they run the guy out there without bringing in someone to seriously push him, the fanbase will dwindle.

As stupid and true fan as this fanbase is, three years of Cassel has wore them down.

Pioli has done his best job to make it as though Cassel is still the guy. It's Romeo's comments that are more damming to me. First, with Orton, then Manning, then RGIII. Something is gonna happen, one way or another.

So if you don't have that QB then you should surrender? Unless Manning is under center for the Chiefs this statement should hold true. I just hope it doesn't include the Cassel part.

Holy shit that video is fucking depressing.

Highlights:
Must take a QB high, taking one low doesn't work.
Matt Cassel at QB means you're a run first team.
Debate as to whether that type of team can win a title in today's league.

Check check check.

And this video is highlighted on the team's homepage. LMAO

As I said in another thread, it would be cruel for Pioli and Romeo to put all this information out on quarterbacks, and then turn around and start Casshole. No information over the past 3 years and now flooding the fans with information is crazy enough in itself.

Wow.

This is kind of strange. It seems like just a year ago, the national pundits were speaking in positive terms about Cassel. Either that, or they simply didn't know enough about the guy to say anything other than, "He's a quarterback in the league."

For the last few months, though, it's like the word has gotten around about the guy. I have to wonder if the Chiefs' performance in those last few games with Orton under center shown a light on our primary problem on offense.

I think last year after he had his "magical" season, most real experts knew the truth, just couldn't come straight out and say it.

It was almost a "Yeah, he's a good qb" with a smirk and chap in their ass.

IMO last year was the real Cassel, as was 2010. He can be a decent qb when he has a great running game and playing less than stellar defenses. When defenses are keying on him being the guy and him standing in the pocket, it turns for the worse.

We are condemned to that living hell of winning enough games per season to never be in reach of a franchise QB.

Which is why we are going to have to be bold in order to get our franchise QB. We will have to go big or go home.

This is a strategy I can buy into. Put all the chips on the table and if it results us losing every game so be it. Play the players but be agressive as hell. If it doesn't work out then it doesn't.

People advocating sitting players to throw a game makes me sick.

Kinda like when Pioli threw Haley under the bus.
