I'll have to see a picture before I make up my mind. Initially, sounds like it will not look good.

The term "Jayhawk" might be Missouri's biggest blunder ever.

And my have there been many.

There were some really cool concept uni's in the 2011 repository thread when the news first came out about the uniform change. Not searching, though.

They announced that in 2011. They are going to use that funky new Nike style. The helmet is a matallic black with a sweeping tiger head on the side. I believe tiger stripes are going to be used a trim on the uni's.

It could maybe use a little work to make the view from straight on look better, IMO, but it's a cool idea.

That's a badass concept, but it was created by a poster at Power Mizzou. I told him it would look better with a white facemask for the "teeth" effect.

This sounds like just the thing the team needs in order to compete in the SEC.

Any truth to the rumor that the new KU uniforms will have pleats in their pants as a tribute to their new coach?

Side note: Charlie Weis actually purchased all of his pants from MC Hammer at a post-bankrupcy auction.

I'm not for the change. Yup, and I'm 'old' too.:D

I grew up wishing I could play for the Missouri Football team, and thought the black jerseys/gold pants and black helmet with the white block 'M' was kickass. Michigan? I couldn't give a squirt of f#*k about them. But I understand flash over tradition is more popular now. Will that new helmet design withstand the test of time? Hardly...

I think the new helmets look like something from the Lion King Broadway play. Gay. As. Shite.

Personally I wish they'd go back to the uniforms from about 10 years - I really dislike the current ones. But that's not going to happen, so I'll probably be okay with whatever change they make.

People around the country see the block M, and they think Michigan.

We're talking about Missouri football uniforms, not Alabama. It's not like we've got some incredible amount of tradition. Times are changing, and it's time that we change with them.

When has Michigan used a block M on their helmet? They've had the wolverine mustard or skunk stripes on them my whole life.

To differentiate themselves from that block M, they're going with the rarely used Tiger.

So when you say "when people around the country see the block M, they think of Michigan" and MU changes they're uniform, you're not saying they're changing them to differentiate from Michigan?
