One of them has to inspire multiple threads of bitching this time next year. Tis our way. Who's it gonna be?

Quinn not included since he's unlikely to play.

Agreed. I'm afraid we're going to look back and curse the day he was signed much like our shitty QB.

With Quinn out for the polls sake...who the hell knows, any one of these guys could take a big dump, even big money Winston... but i doubt its him, that guy with Asamoah makes a good looking right side.

Hillis has decided to stay in the NFL & seems willing to earn his next contract, he's actually in the perfect spot to have a big year.

Honestly not sure why, but i think Boss will be a surprisingly good pickup... just gut feelings about plays he's made in the past, and the spot he's at in his career.

My math says Routt, thats where the dropoff is going to be, considering where it was, the other moves are improvements, Routt is a downgrade... but in reality, Carr couldnt be kept anyway.

It'll probably be the one who runs into my mom around town first. When she meets famous athletes, she typically has them suck code red mountain dew out of her butthole.

Probably Boss. One more good blow to the head and the Chiefs will be spoon feeding him at team meals.

I hate to be optimistic and all... ya know, don't wanna spread sunshine on anyone's rainy day, but I feel pretty good about these FA signings.... ugh, if we would only address the damn QB position, the Chiefs would be sitting pretttttty.

But if I had to choose one of those options, it'd be Routt.

Stanford Routt - we should have kept Carr

Routt has crazy speed (faster that Carr) and athletic gifts. His weakness has been technique and decision making. I have a lot of faith that our HOF secondary coach can coach him up to equal or exceed Carr. Emmitt Thomas will be the best coach that Routt has ever had. Just my humble opinion.

Does deafening silence = tons of bitching?

I doubt we will hear much of Boss..........but I doubt people will care enough to single him out whether or not the team is doing well. If the team is doing poorly, theres only one person who will get the blame. If the team is doing well, Boss will most likely be forgotten.

The good thing about him is it will let them use Moeaki in the slot and move him around and take advantage of his athletic gifts, provided our QB can complete some damn passes.

I was tempted to be surprised myself until i looked out the window and saw the bus dropping everyone off at the polling booth...

I get that everyone is pissed Carr left, we drafted and developed him which is rare for this franchise. But Routt is a good corner with a ton of talent. Carr was our #2 corner wanting #1 money. I think the dropoff from Carr to Routt will be less than people think

I love Brandon Carr, and the argument is with the cap room he could have been kept and that's true. But this team made it's decision they chose Flowers and decided to spread the money instead of having the highest paid secondary in football, it is what it is.

It was the right thing to do. Routt isn't Sabby Pestiacho 2.0, he'll hold himself.

With Hali and Houston terrorizing the opposing QB, Routt will hold his own.
