Fun poll. I voted for the cowgirls because two of my best friends are fans and I'd love to see Jones have a heart attack when JC has an 80 yard run for the win.

I don't care as long as we win. But if I had to choose and it worked that way lol I would want to beat the Cowboys because that's my wife's team. :)

Packers to avenge SB I, the Rams so whichever network telecasts the game will want to commit sepukku for having two small market teams, and against the Redskins for the most non-PC championship evar.

The Packers. They're one of the teams to beat to show the world the Chiefs can contend in the modern era.

Bears...my dad is a Bears fan and attempted to raise me to be one as well. I rooted for them for maybe a year...when I was 5 years old or so and Neil Anderson was running all over the place. All in all though, I really had a difficult time rooting for them and I couldn't pinpoint why. My dad was moreso a St. Louis Cardinals fan than a Bears fan and I followed his lead on that. My first toy as a baby was a Fredbird doll. He used to constantly go on rants about how awful and pathetic the Chicago Cubs fanbase was (and still is). I bought in to that as well because it's true and was very noticeable to me for I went to school with many Cubs fans. When I started noticing that the Bears fans I went to school with were the same delusional, dumbass Cubs fans that I talked shit to every summer, I realized that I didn't just despise the Cubs...I despised Chicago sports and their dipshit fans in general. I then decided that it was impossible for me to be a Bears fan. So at the age of 6, I looked at the back of a cereal box that displayed a picture of every NFL football team's helmet. I decided to choose a new favorite NFL team by choosing the helmet I thought was the coolest. I narrowed it down to 2 choices; the Bengals and the Chiefs (my suffering since then was evidently inevitable). I chose the Chiefs. I loved the colors, loved the arrowhead, not to mention, Kansas City isn't too far away geographically speaking. Have been a die-hard Chiefs fan ever since.

I stated my case to my dad regarding the Bears fans being the same disgusting wastes of space as Cubs fans and that he should convert as well. He has stood his ground with the Bears, BUT since I became a Chiefs fan, he has always seemed to know more about what is going on with them than than the Bears. Whenever he has been around me while watching the Chiefs, he is always actively rooting for them, but claiming, "I'll root for these guys since you like them...I'll root for them unless they are playing the Bears. They'll be my favorite AFC team." However, the past couple times the Bears and Chiefs have played, I swear I have heard him discretely root for the Chiefs. Just today he came to my house with a Lindy's magazine with Bowe on the cover with a headline saying something along the lines of, "Cassel must step up." He was like, "Joshua! Look at this magazine I got for you! The media is finally catching on to Cassel being dogshit! Do you think Quinn or Stanzi will get a chance?!" Considering the fact that my dad probably doesn't even know who the Bears' backup QB's are, I think it's a logical possibility that I may have converted him to a closet Chiefs fan at the very least. What do ya'll think? I know that he had to have given my logic for switching teams some thought because he DESPISES the Cubs and despises their fanbase even more....I can't see him wanting any positive affiliation with any Chicago sports team for this reason. I think a Bears vs. Chiefs Super Bowl would give me a clear answer as to which NFL team is actually my dad's favorite.

You didn't state it in the OP, but this poll does allow multiple choices. I chose the Bears, Saints, and Falcons.

Raiders. You wanna play the Raiders. Last season Oakland had franchise worsts in touchdown passes allowed (31), yards per carry (5.1), yards passing (4,262) and total yards (6,201), and gave up the third-most points (433) in team history. And that was before Wimbley & the starting CBs jumped ship.

In 2012, or ever?

In 2012 I would like to see them play the weakest team as a cheap answer. In terms of enjoyment, a Chiefs-Cowboys game would be good because you know it'll get a lot of hype.

In general, I'd rather see them play a team from the NFC North, because those are the classic teams from the Black and Blue Division. Probably the Bears, or maybe the Vikings.

They are as scary as any impending 8-8 team I've ever seen.
