I love a good fruit salad. Currently chowing down on a wonderful mix and Red Delicious and Granny Smith apples, rainier cherries, red grapes and strawberries, tossed with a little lemon juice and just a touch of turbinado sugar simple syrup. I should have tossed in some finely chopped fresh mint, but the store didn't have any.
do you toss your fruity salads? You will want something to lubricate the succulent fruit as well, maybe give it some extra flavor to be nice.

Oh, I tossed it. I tossed it good.
Well, the tiny big of sugar will make some of the fruit macerate, which kinda makes its own sauce. I've done a bit of vanilla or fruit flavored yogurt before, too.

Usually it's just put in front of me and I eat it. It never occurred to me that I could actually make it.

Agreed. The packaging is annoying, though. It's better than one of those plastic clamshell things, but not by much. If they'd change that to something more like a clementine, they'd probably double their sales.

I like fruit but it has never occurred to me to take the time to "prepare" it. I just open the wrapper and eat it.
