For the most part, I do.

The dealer does all my maintenance...It is worth it to me.

No, I prefer to not be anally raped by dealers over and over and over again.

Do I keep it Dealer quality maintained? Aboslutely. Do I take it to the Stealership for work? Lol, no. We own our own shop so we do all of our work on our vehicles. I am very picky about my cars (daily drivers), so I fix everything on them. My wife has a 96 Escort (while she was in school) that she used until she graduated from college a few weeks ago. It is probably one of the best running Escorts left out there. It is an ugly car, but no matter what my car looks like I always make sure it runs great and is dependable. Being mechanically sound takes precedent over aesthetics in my opinion.

It depends, on my track beater no. On both our daily drivers yes, it makes quite the difference when you go to sell your car, people like to see that the car was dealer maintained.

Not now that the warranty has expired. Fuck those thieves.

It depends on the dealer.

Some of the dealers around town here are very expensive. Others are very reasonable.

I took it to the dealer while it was under warranty.

Now I do everything myself. I don't trust garages AT ALL and most car work is relatively easy to do.

I do most of it myself.

Hell I rarely even buy cars from dealers. It's even more rare for me to take them to one.

I take mine to the dealer 90 percent of the time, but I don't know why. I seldom get good service, and the car is long out of warranty. It's just an ingrained habit, and in part it's because the car so rarely needs maintenance or repairs.
