Fun fact: DJ has 638 career tackles.

Chiefs record books:

Spani 999
Still 992
Cherry 927
Edwards 876
Ross 827

3 more 120+ tackle seasons and DJ has the record.

That sack of Roethlisberger always makes me laugh.

He's made some great plays, that's for sure. I hated it when he came into the league and our D made him play safe. I remember hearing that they were telling him not to chop at the ball, which drove me crazy. It's not like he was Greg Wesley refusing to tackle. If he could hold the guy and chop at the ball, let him.

I think his high point may have been that series last year where he dominated the goal-line stand. Who was that against? I don't remember.

That was the first draft I had ever watched. My brother and I were jumping up and down when Carolina took Thomas Davis. Literally jumping.

The funny thing about that was Gunther wanted Demarcus Ware or Thomas Davis in that draft.

He and Parcells both compared Ware to Thomas/LT and he got drafted sooner than most thought.

Everyone thought DJ would be a top 5 pick and everyone knew we were gonna take Thomas Davis after Ware went off the board.

God bless the panthers for making that move for Davis.

I've always been a fan of DJ. Its a good thing he took the step to the next level last season; we've been needing a presence in the middle for a while now.

It's always weird to me the force he plays with for being such a lanky guy, when compared to guys like Lewis and Willis anyway. I think it's because of his speed. I remember some reports claiming he was our fastest player in pads when he got drafted. We were generally old and slow in those days, but impressive nonetheless.

But if I may, my directorial vision involved a further inquiry into Copper's humanity, a side that fans, detractors, and average football viewers don't get to see.

Since there exists no footage of Copper as a family man, citizen, and neighbor, I thought his reputation as a team leader, veteran, and core special teamer should be shown through to compensate. In the process, the nature of the second duty he serves, while still football, is different from his role as badass and offensive savior. Contrasting the two sides, I believe, creates a badass of godlike status to an even greater degree. What you have already done in showing his highlight catches is brilliant work, and succeeds in forming the viewer's perception of Copper as badass.

But in digging into his special teams work, you can communicate a bigger story: the athlete of almost heavenly power is just another average Joe who plays special teams. You see, people see him working wonders on the football field in ever game, but they just don't realize it. In the same way, they walk down the street and see men of average-looking disposition all the time. But what is really behind those men? Some of them might be rapists. Maybe one of them is a successful executive. And one of them saved 30 hot women from a burning building while punching out terrorists armed with AK 47s. But you don't know you're looking at that hero. That hero, however, is Terrance Copper.

The result is a story and a video that seeks to connect rather than tell. Terrance Copper's supposed "descent" into doing grunt work is what makes him the hero that he is, in the same way that Hercules' mortal side grants him wisdom. And that's a side of Terrance Copper that must be shown in order to REALLY understand his badassery.

But nice job.
