When I was in University I had trouble waking up in the morning. I had my radio alarm on full blast and would sleep through anything it had to offer.
The only song that could get me up was Macarena. I hated it with a white hot passion and became extreemly violent jumping from my bed and smashing everything in my wake.
I later rigged a tape player as an alarm to play that peice of shit every morning at 6 AM.
I hate it more now than I ever have, (It must be a pavlovian reaction), but that song has got me through some tough times. I still hate it.

It's so funny that you mentioned this one. One of those songs where after you hear it, it sticks in your head FOREVER. I'm not a fan of the song, but have gotten quite a few laughs from it. If I want to torment my fiancee, all I have to do is start singing that song. I think I even posted the video a couple times on the Random Music Video thread...pretty much out of curiosity as to how annoyed people became. They performed on Letterman and Dave's reaction was pretty hilarious...you could tell that he had no idea what he was in for by inviting them to the show.

I don't see how they could get tired considering the radio never plays them, and if they do it's shitty Number of the Beast or Run to the Hills. Never any of their good stuff. Unless you just hate Maiden, in which case what the hell is wrong with you...

Anything by Simple Plan... I hate them more than anything.

And I hate Fallout Boy and don't want to hear any of their songs, ever again.

And the same goes for; Good Charlotte, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Panic at the Disco, Taking Back Sunday, Hawthorne Heights, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Trace Adkins, Aerosmith, etc.

Generally, anything rap or hip hop, all things Nirvana (YAAAY SHOTGUN) specifically and grunge generally, and most things Led Zeppelin.

Other than that:

1. All That She Wants, Ace of Base. All Ace of Base sucks, but the tooting horn puts this turd over the top.
2. Achy Breaky Heart. Just typing the words will probably get it stuck in my head all day long.
3. Picture. Miserable, depressing duet by Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow, butchered regularly by drunken assholes singing karaoke.
4. Red Red Wine by Dead Rot Chili Peppers. And fuck all the rest of their stuff, too.
5. Macarana. Don't remember who sings it, but I hope he's burning in hell.

And everybody who put Hotel California on this list should be stabbed in both eardrums with a fucking ice pick.

There's some really good music in this thread. LMAO

Keep Your Hands to Yourself by the Georgia Satellites
Achy Breaky Heart
Rock and Roll All Nite by Kiss
Voodoo by Godsmack (and I really like Godsmack)

In high school/college I definitely would have said anything Nickelback or Creed or any other song they played 40 times a day on 98.9... but, I can actually tolerate a lot of that stuff now that I don't hear it nearly as much.

I can understand songs that classic radio have played to death but when I see people saying "anything" by ZZ Top,Pink Floyd,Rod Stewart,Aerosmith etc. it leaves me :hmmm:

I mean it's all subjective and to each their own but damn those bands/artists have some great material that NEVER gets heard.

Yes to all of those questions actually, except for apple pie. Don McLean can fuck right off with his 2 hour snoozer of a song.

I like the song they used in the movie. Same song used for the TV show, just truncated without the lyrics. Much like the show itself, the version of the theme song got worse and worse.

When it would come on when I was a kid, the second it started everyone in the room frantically searched for remotes and hit buttons to make it stop.
