Falling Skies is having a big show tonight, i've been meaning to watch that & havent yet.

But its too late now, i've already started 2001 Space Odyssey on encore on-demand, nothing on tv is going to be any better.

Very good pilot, I'll be watching weekly.

I liked it too. I wasn't sure I'd like it because I read the synopsis before watching and I usually find the "exes forced to work together" thing ridiculous and off putting. However, this was great. I liked everybody. I liked that they set up the new Senior Producer vs. old Executive Producer who run the news room pit, complete with potential love triangle which should have been trite, but then tossed it on it's side with a great turn on loyalty and character.

And the one week contract is a fantastic addition. It was tense and exciting and believable. Really well done. Set to record the season now.

I may not agree with his politics, but Aaron Sorkin is one of the best writers in the business.

I recorded The Newsroom, but haven't watched it yet.

Also, I'm really liking Longmire.
