iphone library sync to itunes on new computer?

My previous laptop shit the bed. Re: my music and pics all on my iphone but now I've got a new laptop, downloaded itunes, it recognizes my iphone and go to sync - nothing.

I'm not good at this kind of thing but not so bad that if someone could offer a little help I'd appreciate it.

From the menu, click Store, and then Authorize this computer. That will authorize it so you can sync with it.
