Nicely said. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2012/06/21/gop_rep_gowdy_pelosi_is_mind-numbingly_stupid.html

Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) on Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Cali.)*accusing Republicans of attacking Eric Holder*in order to further an agenda of voter suppression.

“You know my friend Allen West said the race card was the last card in the deck. I think former Speaker Pelosi has opened up a new deck and has found the 2 of clubs. I could not believe it when I heard her saying that. Is that all you have to come back with?” Rep. Gowdy said on FOX News tonight.

“Is that the best you can come up with, is that we got together in this grand scheme to suppress votes and I’m sure she didn’t say southern states but that’s what she meant,” Gowdy said.

“It’s really beneath the office of a member of Congress to say something that outrageous and the fact that she was once the Speaker is mind numbing. I honestly, and I have her a lot in my 16 years as a prosecutor, I couldn’t believe the words coming out of her mouth. But keep in mind, Greta, this is the same woman who said she could have arrested Karl Rove any day she wanted. So I don’t know what was wrong with her yesterday or today or whenever she said that, but I would schedule an appointment with my doctor if she thinks that we are doing this to suppress votes this fall. That is mind-numbingly stupid,” he said.

Nancy Pelosi Slams Contempt Vote: 'I Could Have Arrested Karl Rove ... But We Didn't'

"I could have arrested Karl Rove on any given day," Pelosi said to laughter, during a sit-down with reporters. "I'm not kidding. There's a prison here in the Capitol ... If we had spotted him in the Capitol, we could have arrested him."

If you consider for too long the cast of characters at our government's top levels it will cause you great concern.
Pelosi, Holder, obama, Biden, Reid, Napolitano, etc. etc. it is scary, disgraceful and laughable all at the same time.

That crazy broad is drunk with power but you can really say that for the whole Democrat Party establishment, including the media that votes 5 to 1 Democrat. All you have to do is look at how serious Fast & Furious is with hundreds of deaths and how they are trying to downplay it for the good of their party. This goes beyond any political party.

This crazy woman is the only one who vetted Obama with her signing of the Official Certification of Nomination claiming he was eligible to run for President of the United States.

People need to get over their reluctance to being called a birther for looking in to Obama’s life narrative like Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s official law enforcement investigation. Lead investigator, Mike Zullo, found that no one vetted Obama. McCain didn’t and later admitted he should have. Of course, the Democrat media didn’t for obvious rock star worship reasons. He found there really was no process to vet a president if the opposition or media didn’t do it. That only left Nancy Pelosi to sign off on his Official Certification of Nomination to run for office and she is crazy and drunk with power.

People need to check out Sheriff Joe’s official investigation and how many discrepancies they find in his life narrative .

I'm sure that the McCain campaign didn't do any research on their opponent for president.
Or that the Clinton campaign didn't during the primaries.
Or the Repub National Committee.
Or Fox News or any other arm of Rupert's media empire
Or any of the myriad of right-wing websites, PACs, authors, etc.

Probably none of them bothered to do any checking on the guy.

You are just picking and choosing what you want to hear. I said Mike Zullo had found there really is no process to vet a president if the opposition doesn't do it or the media. McCain already admitted he didn't like he should have and of course when you have a media that votes Democrat 5-1, it was all about worshipping him. Also, I was around for the last election because I saw that people were getting duped by this corrupt culture and it turns out they did.

I don't doubt there was some vetting but you conveniently left out that anyone even slightly critical of Obama was labeled as a racist in the 2008 presidential election by this corrupt culture.

No they didn't vet him:

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/05/07/was-steve-schmidt-qualified-to-be-mccains-campaign-manager

Beyond his failure to highlight aspects of Palin’s record that would bolster the McCain campaign, Schmidt and the McCain campaign’s greatest negligence came in not vetting candidate Obama.

Schmidt ran the McCain campaign largely in a vacuum, which cannot be done in a political campaign, especially when the media repeatedly carries water for an opponent’s campaign. Schmidt played the 2008 campaign like a game of solitaire using a 48 card deck because he chose to hide the aces. Politics isn’t solitaire. It’s poker. There is an opponent, and there’s a strategy you must employ by fully recognizing the power of the cards you have and by knowing how your opponent operates.

The “Obama vs. McCain” narratives the McCain actually did recognize and try to run with were nothing more than hypotheticals based on the potential public perception of Obama (“celebrity”, “non partisan pretender” etc). These were not narratives comparing an American hero to an Alinsky radical. They didn’t dissect Obama’s associations, highlight his activist past, or appropriately highlight his nearly non-existent political record of leadership.

Because of Schmidt’s negligence and that of many on the McCain campaign staff, Palin’s strengths and achievements were hidden along with President Obama’s extreme associations, weaknesses, and lack of achievements. And this is primarily why Andrew Breitbart felt the need to vet Obama during the 2012 election cycle.

We are paying for this mess now because what vetting was left during that election was met with a charges of racism and you know it. You can't be this ignorant but I guess you have no clue what the Tea Party is all about since all you can do is deride them. Like it or not, he will be vetted this time despite all your postings of damage control on this board.

Crazy bitch thinks Obama can declre rhings unconstitutional....

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., thinks that President Obama should unilaterally eliminate the debt ceiling, rather than negotiate with Congress to spend more money when the United States hits the debt ceiling later this year.

“I would like to see the Constitution used to protect the country’s full faith and credit, as the Constitution does,” Pelosi told reporters Wednesday. She was endorsing the idea that Obama should use the 14th Amendment — which states that “The validity of the public debt of the United States . . . shall not be questioned” — to circumvent House Republicans who want spending cuts in exchange for another debt ceiling hike.

“I think he should [declare the debt ceiling unconstitutional],” Pelosi said, though she wouldn’t predict Obama’s move. “I’m in a different branch of government. In the minority, in the House. What do I know about what the president’s going to do?”

Pelosi is in a different branch of government — the only one that has the authority to “borrow Money on the credit of the United States,” as Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution establishes. And she is in the minority, which increases the likelihood that Obama will have to agree to spending cuts in order to get a debt-ceiling increase.
