Onkyo HT-RC360

I've had this unit since around Christmas 2011 and never had any setup before so I'm pretty much a n00b.

This unit has internet radio capabilities. Pandora has always worked perfectly, so has Slacker the couple times I've used it. However, the DLNA has been acting up recently.

DLNA worked perfectly for the first 3 months, then I noticed that every once in a while the audio would cut out for one or two seconds but pick right up. In the last month or so the DLNA hardly wants to play at all.

I can get into the DLNA menu and see my computer just fine, I can also search through the music on my computer just fine. When I pick a song to play it will take longer than it should to play, then when it does start playing the audio will cut out. Sometimes it takes a few minutes to start acting like this, other times it will take 30 minutes or so. Once it starts acting up though nothing can be done to make it act right. Eventually it will just refuse to play anything.

The Onkyo is connected with an ethernet cable to my router (Netgear WGR614) and my computer is connected to the network wireless. Right now it is not working right and my computer and cell phone are the only devices (besides the Onkyo) that are connected to the network.

I've googled it and the search results aren't helping. Is there a setting in Vista that could improve DLNA performance? I feel like it may be related to my laptop because the other internet functions of the receiver work fine.

Sorry for the novel but do any CP audiophiles or tech gurus have any advice?
