OK here's what I have. A Verizon Mifi unit 4510L. I've got it out in the boonies and thanks to advise on here I have a Wilson amp and 8dbi Omni antenna. Its fast and totally rocks.

Here's what I'm trying to get done. I want to get a bridge (or something) connected to it and run an external antenna back out to allow the house and a outbuilding to be able to connect to the Mifi unit that is in a truck. The house is about 150 feet West and the outbuilding is about 100 feet North East of the truck. What access point / bridge could I use that I can run a external antenna out of the truck onto its roof and broadcast to both locations?

The mifi units signal is pretty weak to connect to it, so the AP / bridge would probably have to be inside the Alumiinum body truck and the antenna mounting outside.

The Mifi unit has NO external connectors available.

Major rep and thanks for any help.

Never done so before....

But you should be able to use a cheap router that's running DDWRT. That will allow you to use it as a wireless repeater/bridge.

The trick has been finding one that has removable antenna so I can attach a external antenna.

Irritating. But thanks...
