The Stephenson/Wylie picks look fucktastically retarded now.

This team needed to draft safeties. It appears Menzie isn't going to play much at that spot. So our solution to the zero safety depth is Abram Elam.

If he tore his pectoral muscle again he could be done for the year. Elam really plays the SS side so this could be a big loss.

I think you have to start Elam and Berry together. You can't count on Daniels who is a converted CB ( and currently hurt) or anyone else for that matter to start and play a 16 game season. Maybe Menzie (also hurt) is the other option as the third safety.

Fact of the matter is Kendrick Lewis like him as a FS, mediocre tackler but can make a big play on the ball and take it to the house, he has always been injury prone though since he was drafted by KC.

If he continues to have these problems with his shoulder he wont stay in the NFL for long.

Oh yea and another thing the reason he is so good at pickin the passes is he was a WR early on in his college career and converted to Safety.

Here is the only glimmer of hope about the Kendrick Lewis injury. Brian Orakpo had the same thing happen to him tonight...He had a tear in his pectoral muscle last year, and injured it again tonight. However, they think it's just a strain and that it involves old scar tissue from the previous injury. That's probably the best we can hope for.

That shoulder isn't going to be 100% all season. Lewis is a tackling liability he really should be a backup this season.

Couldn't agree more. In fact, Last year and this pre-season he was a liability in coverage.
Chiefs need to start looking for his full-time replacement imo.

Do they already have him in Elam? We are gonna find out.

yea it sounds like it to me. i knew that he had shoulder surgery and since he hurt again they should just put him on IR so that he can let it heal properly but he probably said he didnt wanna do that so they are goin to give him a chance to try to go again.

hopefully it aint that bad

Quick's dick is most certainly sore after the slobbing he got from the Rams awful announcers (the worst I've ever seen cover a pro game by far).

Yep, I've heard Marshall Faulk on NFLN before and he is just terrible at talking anything about football. Just because you played it at a HOF level doesn't mean you can analyze it on TV well.

Here is a post from march 20This

Barron is vastly underrated IMO.

I know most here are in love with Lewis the same way they were with Page, but all in all they are very similar players.

Adding a guy like Barron, in today's passing league, would improve the quality of this defense quite a bit.

I think we are close to set at corner for 2012.

We only have 2 good safeties and one is coming off a major injury.

after doing some reading up on shoulder dislocations it can take a shoulder 4-12 weeks to heal.

hopefully its not a complicated heal and will only take a couple of weeks.

Second-year pro Jalil Brown has been getting reps at cornerback with Flowers out, though he didn't perform particularly well against St. Louis. Travis Daniels can play both cornerback and safety, but he's been dealing with nagging injuries of his own.

Oh you mean Training Camp God Jalil Brown actually sucks. Why am I not shocked people on here are dead wrong.
