I think Pool failed the Cowboys conditioning test a few times.

That's ok, we have a soft coach now.

I think Pool failed the Cowboys conditioning test a few times.

"On March 15, 2012, Pool signed with the Dallas Cowboys.[3] One week into the start of Training Camp, Pool was cut on August 6, 2012. He had failed an initial conditioning test upon arriving at camp before passing later in the week on his second attempt."

so busy shopping the bargain bin that we miss out on upgrading the team in other ways.

Well unless Vernon Carey does not wanna became an assistant football coach at Miami Northwestern High School. Then I would rather have him then David Mims

Yeah, but their conditioning test is different than ours. They make the players stay at a strip club all night, drink several shots of whiskey, and then run. Our players just have to run.

I'd take Pool as a backup safety.

Menzie and Lewis still down.
Makes sense.

Carey though? Weird.
He'll be signed then announce his retirement 4 days later.

Carey was actually a pretty decent RT...I wonder why he retired at such a relatively young age?

Considering kicking the tires. Possibly a new standard for non-commital reporting.

We need safety depth far more than we need another corner.

We'll be fine at corner when Travis Daniels is healthy for the regular season. And as soon as Flowers gets his foot shit figured out, we're solidified completely.

CB isn't the problem. The problem is we're being forced to start Jalil Brown due to injury, and he's is underperforming. Unless there's a starting CB currently available of Travis Daniels-type quality, it's worthless to try and find help.

I can't get off this Vernon Carey retirement train. Is he retired, is he not? The most selfish player in the league. :)
