Can anyone else do it? It seems like for years I could but the last year or two the box disappears as soon as I click inside the text area.

Same with doing a search.

If you're using an iPhone press and hold the rep button and "open in new page".

Works on Android too thanks.

Sort of annoying though.

Have the exact same problem. I'll have to try that on my phone.

Yeah, long press.

I thought this was general knowledge for 'smart'phone users?

Long press doesn't work with search. Have to do advanced search.

With rep on my phone I just type it out in the new post box, copy and paste it in the rep box, let it close, reopen it and it's still there to send.

That's what I used to do until Inmem proved me to be and idiot.

On my iPhone, all I have to do is single click the rep button, and it opens a new page automatically. With the search, I single click and it drops down the search box, then I can enter search terms just like on a computer.

I've never had a problem with it.
