Damn it would have been nice to be the team developing him this year. And he was available

He was pretty impressive to go into New Orleans against Drew Brees in his pro debut and play so well

I just realized that if the Chiefs really suck this year, I may switch teams after 40 years and jump on the Redskins being I live here.....

yeah Daniel Snyder is soooooo stupid for making that trade for an elite QB

Hard not to like the guy and what he brings to the position. Smart, athletic, and a leader.

RG3 is like an even better Tyler Thigpen. I wish we could have drafted him. :(

Maybe, but the #1 overall pick was not available, #2 overall obviously was

No, I would rather have those meaningless wins from last season.

Whatever. We have enough first-round defensive linemen to occupy blocks for the next 10 years.

I'll bump this thread at the end of the season. People always ALWAYS overrate and overreact week 1. Always.

Defenses are going to adjust to him, but he's also going to get better. I'd love to have a chance to sink or swim with a talent like him.

Of course, there will be those that wouldn't want him, regardless of how good he is (vailpass, shtsprayer).

Haley did his best tot ank the season to force Pioli into drafting a qb, problem is he didnt last the season and then the team decided to try to rally around Crennel and beat the Packers and Broncos :(

I have this feeling that RG3 is gonna win a Superbowl within the next 3 seasons. That team has defense and now it has RG3 to take over the offense. That team is gonna be a force.

He is who I wanted. Tannehill would have been cheaper to go after but whatever it took to get RG3 I wouldn't have cared. I loved him going into last season at Baylor and he stepped up his passing game big time. I love how he stays in the pocket and doesn't just scramble immediately. He is already heads and shoulders above Vick passing the ball.

He is the real deal. Here in the formerly known as Big 12 country we got to see him a lot. If Barkley came out and we didn't go for RG3 who probably would have been the third QB taken I would have gone ballistic had we not tried to get him.

Looks good now, but I still believe Luck will have the better career.

One thing I noticed about Luck is that he seemed to throw behind tbe reveivers on a lot of his throws. He didn't exactly play with a bunch of speedy guys at Stanford so he will need to adjust that. Ball looks good coming out though.

Luck will need better coaching/playcalling. Asking a rookie QB to throw the ball 45 times while the team only has about 10 rushing attempts is just stupid. Balance.

I'm never going to say someone is the "real deal" after 1 pro game. College doesn't mean a thing to me at that level.

Agreed, but unless we tanked the season there was no way we could get Luck. We could have outbid for RGIII, but apparently the cost was too high. So here we sit again on a talented team that will continue to be mediocre because our QB and coaches suck.

Wish I'd have started RG3 in fantasy this week, wanted to hold out until I saw if he could play. Should have listened to my co-owner.
Now I"m curious to see if teams can game plan to stop him.

I thought he looked great in college, still don't know how he'll turn out in the pros. But that was a very impressive first game. We'll see, but he looks like the real deal as of right now.
