Nothing on their website about this.
I'm going to the game tomorrow. Did they say why he wouldn't play?

Please tell me he wasn't spotted driving a moped at 2 in the morning with two co-eds along for the ride.

Shoulder issues. Aggravated it vs. Georgia (apparently on the strip-sack that sealed it for UGA).

He's out, fellas.

The number 2 QB might be better anyway. Less turnover prone.

We'll send down Taylor Martinez... you can have him for free.

This makes me laugh considering Berkstresser has barely played. We have no idea what he is at this point.

1) Franklin is not turnover prone (he protected the ball extremely well for a first-time QB a year ago, and turning it over twice vs. Georgia is not an indication he has a problem).

2) Berkstresser has no experience against real competition and is still incredibly raw. Unless he's made huge leaps and bounds from his spring game performance, I expect a couple of turnovers from him tomorrow, and wouldn't be surprised if he throws a pick six.

3) Berkstresser was nowhere close to beating out Franklin in the spring (even before the injury). Franklin is much better at this point.

Some cereal box deputy gave me an infraction for this and I was reporting something genuinely said on the radio. FYI

Yost should be fired for his stupid ass game plan. Why the fuck would you keep running QB keepers with a QB coming off shoulder surgery?

I'm excited about Berk. I have a feeling we'll be slinging the ball all over the field. The staff has confidence in his abilities.

I agree PG...Berk has a canon for an arm. There is no time like the present for getting him game experience.

Hope we can keep Mauk on the bench and preserve his RS.
