Ray Lewis

once he retires of course. That man is going to be one hell of a coach someday in the NFL.

I suppose he might need some time in college or as an assistant to get some experience. But once he retires, I would jump at the chance to grab him as head coach.

Why not Mike Singletary? The same reasons you want Lewis should have made Mike a SB winner. For that matter, they should have made dozens of formerly intense football players great coaches.

If your coaches think they can win games with speeches...no wonder you're always forked out there as a franchise.

confidence and inspiration is a huge part of the game dude. It's not like Ray Lewis doesn't know the game either. I guarantee you that if Ray Lewis was playing for us and that was the only difference right now than what we currently have, our defense would look completely different, because Ray would have gotten them all ready to play and motivated.

Serious question: How are his public speaking skills? I don't think I've heard him speak outside of his "Pep Talks" that all these networks have recorded over the course of his career.

Is he eloquent or Emmitt Smith?

knowing our luck, when Ray is ready to be a head coach in the NFL. We will be in year 2 of some shitty coach and it will be too early to replace him, only to fire him a year later. And Ray Lewis will coach the raiders or something and then they win the superbowl.
