Guy was involved in a car chase, looked very disoriented. Pulled out a gun and shot himself. He was wearing a Raiders jersey. Thought I'd throw that in.

The most graphic suicide video I've seen in on Snopes - a guy is sitting by himself in a police interrogation room. I guess he knows he's fucked, although he apparently he wasn't fucked enough to get searched before being brought in. Dude takes a drink from a water bottle, and then with no hesitation pulls out a pistol and shoots himself. It's in black and white, but you can see the blood gushing from the wound.

I'm not going to provide a link, if anybody wants to see it, they can find it.

The Budd Dwyer video is worse than this one in terms of graphic content... And the fact you have an entire room of people pleading with the guy versus Shep Smith anxiously begging for the producer to cut the video off.

Yep, R. Budd Dwyer. I was watching a Youtube video about it thinking that they wouldn't show it, cause most of them don't.. I was pretty surprised and disgusted. What an awful sight to see.

Worst part is later on, they figured out he wasn't even guilty of what he was accused of and was innocent the entire time. What a way to say "F U" to the world.

I was expecting a lot more gore.

I never understood why any news station airs a live car chase. They are boring as hell, and I'm sure there are always more interesting things to discuss on air. They would be better off showing the "highlights" of the car chase if anything newsworthy happens.

I live in Arizona it's a messed up place, especially down in Phoenix and Tucson. Dirty ass places and they are full of illegals. And it's like Dances With Wolves up in Flagstaff. There are drunk Indians roaming the streets and harrassing people, the police don't do anything about it. White people are the minority in this state. Most wear Raiders apparel.

I just moved to Phoenix Metro earlier this year, and while every big city has "dirty ass places" due to Phoenix's vast Metro area there are tons of nice places as well. And I find the city, even downtown, pretty damn clean, nice and not scary. I went to a Red Hot Chili Pepper concert at the NHL arena and the area between the stadiums with the shops/bars was fantastic and I was completely shocked with how many "normal" people were there. Late night, not scary or dirty, and nobody doing anything dumb.

And illegal or not, I have met plenty of nice Mexican people. I think Phoenix gets a bad rap with problems that pretty much all large cities deal with.

How long have you lived here and where else have you lived?

4 years, from KC after I graduated college. I know every place has their blemishes but Phoenix is just a piece of shit place in general. I don't mind it because i make a lot of cheese but it's just yuck overall IMO. I like heat so it's not that. The only good thing to come out of here is my wife lol. It's just a weird atmosphere.

To each his own I guess. I have lived a few places and have had family all around the country and I chose to live in Phoenix. City is much cleaner than people give it credit for and I like the sporting events, concerts and of course the weather.

I will say the pay was a reason I moved here as well along with cheap cost of living. Makes things more enjoyable because my money can go further and I can do more things I want.

I don't see what the big deal is either. Police chases in CA are aired in the afternoon sometimes on news channels. It's entertaining, I never stop watching until its over if I see one. Surprised this has never happened before.

I guess it depends on if you have friends there, if you like your job, if you like where the money you make allows you to live, what you value in life (weather!). I find this city very clean and I actually don't mind the Urban sprawl as it makes traffic less in most areas. I also don't mind the old people around here!

Were you here 2 years for work?
