View Full Version : Chiefs Is Romeo sucking for a top draft pick?

Evidence:

-Does the same shitty read-and-react defense to open games when he KNOWS that shit does not work

-Is sticking by Matt Cassel

-Constantly makes questionable decisions in gameday coaching (ironically, he's better at this than Haley, though)

-Doesn't seem concerned at all about his team or his job

I don't think he's going FULL retard just yet. He's just doing enough to put us way behind early in games, hoping that we'll do enough imploding in the second halves to rack of losses while still feeling good about putting up a fight. I also think he didn't fully understand just how terrible New Orleans is.

Who knows. This guy might actually be a kind of Dark Knight (racism not intended). Voluntarily shoulders the blame and takes the fall for the good of the franchise.

Hope so, but then again, Pioli would fire him for all the losses, as he needs a scapegoat!

More of that "He want's to lose" bullshit. I got enough of that from a UCF fan yesterday.

splatbass

No professional coach would lose on purpose. Just because a bunch of fans on a forum want it that doesn't mean it is something that would ever be done in real life. Some of you are living in fantasy land.

He wanted UCF to lose?
He does realize that college teams don't have a draft correct?

He does realize that college teams don't have a draft correct? You had to be there. Dude was adamant that the UCF QB was actively trying to throw throw the game.

Never gave a reason for why he'd want to do something like that. It was weird.

Maybe it's time to just sell to a new owner and scorch the earth with cleansing fire.

Or...

WE CAN BELIEVE THAT THE MIGHTY TANK IS ROLLING FORTH WITH GRAND, MAJESTIC IMPUNITY, AND THAT OUR PLIGHT OF SUCKAGE WILL END WITH GENO SMITH IN APRIL!!!!!!

WHO'S IN?!?!?!?:D

I know nothing about Geno Smith, but what makes everyone so sure Pioli will draft him even if we have a high pick?

Nothing, taking Moeaki before Hernandez and Graham is why I'm confident Pioli shouldn't be making the pick.

We pick better in even years.

Nothing. That's inherent in the very definition of the word "faith." It's not supposed to have tangible proof.

No, he does not have the job security for it..

Unfortunately if we do land one... Our asses would grab Barkley's 'Matt Casselesque' II..

I have no faith in the leadership of the Chiefs doing the right thing unless they find a needle in the haystack during later rounds.. No way they get Geno if given the opportunity..

Romeo's doing us all a solid.

He saw the injustices being perpetrated upon the fanbase by Fuhrer Pioli and decided to end his career with a great sacrifice, for which he will be paid a nice sum of Hunt money.

Baller ass morbidly obese coach at work.

Romeo had better not have the chance to coach a top 10 draft pick.

This team needs an enema from the first spot below the owner down.

I have a really hard time believing this would be true for RAC or any HC. Who says RAC will even be around next year to "reap the benefits" of tanking this season? If we end up with as bad a record as it looks like we could he'll probably go. I think he wants to win he just doesn't have a capable QB anywhere on the roster and he isn't a capable HC on top of it.

I'll say one thing for Romeo. He can adjust at halftime better than any Chiefs coach in recent history.

Now if he could just learn to adjust earlier in the game before we get three scores behind we might have a shot. :thumb:
