Everything we say and do, he knows about, and it bothers him. I've said before on here.

I know for a fact that Pioli will seek out writers who paint him in a positive light, and thank them personally for not saying negative things through e-mail or phone call. He tried SO hard to make sure his public perception was regarded in a high manner. But he forgot, winning is what matters most. He's a loser.

That said, there's a post on Twitter from someone that claims they have a friend who is a professional lip reader. According to this person, Pioli is relaying a story about his daughter. Says she's scared all day at school knowing she has to put up with it. Then says he was standing with her before the game last week when someone says the quoted part we can all figure out, and tells him to go back to where he came from.

Hilarious that this will become this week's Zapruder film

That said, there's a post on Twitter from someone that claims they have a friend who is a professional lip reader. According to this person, Pioli is relaying a story about his daughter. Says she's scared all day at school knowing she has to put up with it. Then says he was standing with her before the game last week when someone says the quoted part we can all figure out, and tells him to go back to where he came from.

I sometimes worry that fan stupidity will ruin a good movement to get rid of Pioli. If this story is true, this bothers the hell out of me.

I don't buy this, at all.

First off, his daughter is nine years old and she's likely in an expensive private school. Parents are generally very involved at private schools and I sincerely doubt that the other children would single her out because of her father's occupation. That's silly.

Then says he was standing with her before the game last week when someone says the quoted part we can all figure out, and tells him to go back to where he came from.

This might be true but I really doubt a fan at Arrowhead is going to call out Pioli from the stands. If that happened, Pioli would have him/her removed.

I could definitely see that being the case after watching the video again. I'm all for the banners, not going to games, etc. in an attempt to show Clark we are tired of the crap this team has become. Exactly right on the first part. It's very difficult to believe that Pioli would have his daughter in a public school.

I can tell you that, in Nashville, all the Tacks front office children attend private schools ... and they are treated like royalty ... for example, one of them threatened another boy with a knife during a retreat and the administration tried to sweep it under the rug.

Save your compassion for Pioli's daughter. The "school fear" tactic is more than likely nothing but bullcrap.

Scott Pioli is a cocksucker that should go back to where he came from. And if this is something that happened at Arrowhead, it's his own damn fault for parading his daughter out on the field during pre-game.

It's your job, shithead. We're all very sorry that your pre-teen daughter (that has most certainly heard blue language before if she spends any time near football people) had to hear you get blistered for your god-awful performance from the field or some suite. That poor girl will have her illusions - that the world is wine and roses and that her daddy is competent - absolutely shattered.

Fuck him, fuck his daughter, fuck his whole goddamn family. I couldn't give a large rats ass what any one of them hears when he's parading them around his goddamn workplace on one of the 16 most important work days of the year for him.

Or it's the kind of stupid shit that turns an egotistical prick into a sympathetic character. Sadly, the idiocy of a few can undermine an otherwise reasonable protest.

Booing Cano was hilarious and the unity behind the effort was impressive. But people don't talk about that. Instead, people feel bad for him outside of KC because a couple of idiots "allegedly" heckled his family. Same with the impressive unity behind the Bench Cassel banner, social media effort, and the boos after every single play. But a few knuckleheads turned that from an impressive protest into a bunch of lunatic fans who cheer for people to get hurt.

If we haven't learned our lesson by now... especially in the midwest, a few idiots can create sympathy for figures who don't deserve it.

Poor, abused GMs. Who could have thunk that fans in the midwest could be so mean? I didn't think they were allowed to voice displeasure.

I do not care about any of this shit. Honestly, you shouldn't either.

Exactly - Clark should be furious about this.

He's running down the value of the job now. Not only is he doing a shitty job of it, he's going to other members of the NFL fraternity and running down the fanbase (and by extension, the job).

He really should be fired immediately for this crap. This guy is all about cloak and dagger secrecy, but when one of his players blasts the fans in support of his sacred cow, or if he gets around one of his drinking buddies, well gab away fellas...

I hope he brings his grandmother on the field for the Oakland game...

I agree on all your points. It doesn't excuse that behavior. And you have to realize that for some reason, midwestern fans have a target on their back, given media bias.

My father was a poor farmer. Worked his ass off and finally died young in the Kansas dirt so his children could go to college - the first generation to do so.

The "media" with which you are so concerned has been describing the Midwest as the "fly-over-states" for decades ... they could give two shits about us. I don't think we need worry about the media at this point. Our only concern should be running Pioli's fat ass back to New England where he belongs.

5. Extension rumors surface, then it becomes obvious it's just ploy by Clark to save $$$.

I was absolutely horrified and amazed at the way the story of the banner completely dissipated because of Winston's outburst. Heck, a few in the national media even suggested that the people who paid for the banner were the same who "cheered for Cassel's injury." It seems like this man will throw anyone under the bus to preserve his legacy, and with his contacts in the media, we better prepare for a very, very ugly finish to his time in Kansas City.

PR is smart and I've applauded him and Saveourchiefs for the wise decision to scale back on the negativity.

You have to realize that the strength of this movement, like any movement, is about numbers. And you lose numbers if you don't appeal to homers and apologists. It turns a mass movement into a niche faction of disgruntled, unreasonable fans if you're not careful.

And on the Cassel booing, I think you're oblivious to how many homers and Cassel defenders there are out there. If not the player, at least as a person.

No, I'm the one trying to be reasonable here to say that a terrific protest can be undermined by a few idiots who go overboard. If you don't see that by now with the Cano incident and especially with the Cassel incident, then you have your head in the sand.

The Cassel incident matters. Because it re-energized the Cassel homers and KC apologists. And it reduced otherwise terrific traction from the saveourchiefs movement. Wacky Factoid - Jim Bob was "supposed" to be the QB of the long defunct Springlfield (illinois) Stallions, was scheduled for a workout but never came in.

I was their only ad rep, before i saw the writing on the wall & quit... long story short, Justin Gettes hired his 18 year old*, Indiana stripper mistress to be the business manager, passed out cold right in front of the VERY carefully cultivated by me, meeting with the head of the regional United Way... wanted me to cultivate a "family" image with united way, McD's etc... but also had me strongly solicit Deja Vu, spfld illinois only strip bar... wanted to bring in strippers as cheerleaders, with Deja Vu banners, real quality family stuff.

He ended up absconding with about 70k of the teams funds, a WWE wrestler named Dee Lo Brown took over, ensuing drama including a ghost Springfield team of players showing up to play in Ohio for the now defunct arena league... problem was that every player on the team was home in illinois.

Damn i wished that woud've been something, had an office at the Prairie Capital Convention center & everything.

I disagree. Thought between the banner and the unity behind booing Cassel, not to mention just talking to fans... it was the first time I was starting to see momentum building for the anti-Cassel/anti-Pioli movement. After 4 years.

And if not for the negative attention around cheering Cassel's injury.... Let's be real here. It forced the critics to play defense instead of offense. And the offensive momentum (of the movement) was really building legs.

That's fine, but 6 weeks from now, the cheering will be forgotten. Our 1-10 record will be present for all to see and the fans will be just as loud or absent.

If he doesn't get fired until the offseason, fine. However Hunt would have to be suicidal to want to go through 1 more season of this.

Sadly, from what we've seen from the front office... I wouldn't doubt that just a little bit of positive momentum is enough to save Pioli's job.

If Quinn or Stanzi starts to click, and this team winss 4 or 5 more games, that's enough.

I think this team can actually be bad enough to get to 1-10, as you say. But let's not deny that if KC looked competitive today against Tampa, that media attention around booing Cassel would have given Pioli a huge mulligan.

I think you might have him confused with someone else. He's a big Haley supporter. He hasn't been anything but critical of Pioli since I have been back.

Thank you.

I supported the Pioli hire. I was patient with Cassel. I believe in giving everyone a chance, but I'm anything but nice when they fuck up the chance they're given.

Off topic but did anyone hear what Norv Turner said to Drew Brees directly after the Chargers Saints game? I know he said something about the Chiefs but couldnt make it out. But I for sure heard him say "Kansas City"

Yea Brees first career start was in KC if I am not mistaken and Turner was a Offensive coordinator.

Maybe someone could explain this to me. I see video of Pioli recalling an alleged incident of abuse in which he was targeted. He didn't abuse anyone.

How does this damage him?

Because fuck you.

I hadn't thought of it that way. Thanks.
