You don't think Peyton would have made any difference? Or are you saying all of our losses are on the defense?

Pioli would have traded him to Denver for a conditional 7th

Our problems look bigger than just a QB. This team doesn't look good anywhere.

Edit: I'll say RB looks alright.

well, our team looks like dogshit at all levels. Of course, I don't know how much of the teams suck had to do with Cassels suck.

Based on what we have seen, maybe 3-3. Unfortunately, we will never know.

He would have made things closer, but this entire organization blows from top to bottom. It's alot more than just Cassel.

4-2 Lose to Atlanta, lose to Baltimore because they raise their level of play knowing we got Manning, beat Buffalo, Saints, Chargers, Bucs because Manning raises teammates level of play. Just look at halftime MNF

I could go for 3-3 but I don't think Manning makes up the 4 TD margin vs. Tampa.

3-3.

We'd have beaten the Chargers and the Ravens.

We'd go one and done in the playoffs because Romeo does, in fact, blow.

The way Peyton has played this year, assuming 70% of that is purely on his being one of the greatest QB's to play the game, I honestly don't see how we could be any worse than 3-3, and honestly I'd say we'd be 4-2 at this point and on top of the division with a defense putting up great numbers because they can blitz blitz blitz all day.

we'd probably be doing better than we are. The defense knows they can't win with Cassel, so fuck it right?

I bet we'd be at least 3-3 with Tebow for christs sakes.

Even though these guys are supposed to be pros, I think the morale on this team is so ****ing bad w/ Cassel at QB that it sucks everyone down the shitter.

Peyton is the type of QB that would raise the level of play of everyone on the football team because they believe he can win games for them. He's a QB that makes everyone on the offense better. I mean who the fuck is Austin Collie, Pierre Garcon? Look at what he was able to do with that talent while having a shit running game. Could you imagine what he'd be able to do for Charles? We'd see running lanes like 2002-03.

We can all see it....you can't say the coaches and players don't. They keep their mouths shut because it's whats best for the team, but you don't think these players go home at night and just bad mouth Cassel? I sure as **** would....esp if I was someone like Bowe. Why do you think he wants out of KC so damn bad. Look who he's had at QB. He's had zero chance at winning.

I think we lose to ATL, but I also think that would have been a close game. Adding Manning would mean adding asses in the seats at Arrowhead. Look at what Montana was able to do to this town. Arrowhead WAS the place to be on Sundays because of him. Manning would have done the same thing IMO. I know personally I would have bought season tickets had we signed him, and I know I'm not the only one who thought that. I think we beat BAL. We'd be sitting 5-1 probably. At worst 4-2.

A great QB changes EVERYTHING.

Winston bitches about CAssel on the field then uses the fans as a scapegoat to protect his QB.

Probably a hell of a lot better. Manning would mask some of our problems in other areas and he'd inspire what this team has none of... confidence/swagger... on both sides of the ball.

Peyton would've stabbed Pioli in the chest with a tent stake.

Who knows? Our entire offense would be different. Which would affect our defense..how much time they spend on the field, whether they're protecting a lead or treading water or playing from behind. One player can change the entire team. Which is why.........WE WANT A GOOD FUCKING QUARTERBACK!!!!!!!

At the end of the day, I don't give a rat's ass if we are 6-0 with Manning.

It just doesn't matter.

QB is only one of the problems with this team.

The front office sucks, the coaching sucks, and the QB sucks.

Manning would be putting lipstick on the pig.

I could go for 3-3 but I don't think Manning makes up the 4 TD margin vs. Tampa.

I don't think our defense would be as exposed as it is now with a shitty QB. Or else we would be like the teams with Trent Green but we could at least score points to be in any game. I'm a believer in defenses playing better do to great offense but not the same for offenses to play better for having a great defense.

Our turn over ratio would be way different so I don't think the opponents would have as manny opportunities to exploit our defense.

That said if Peyton Manning was here we would hear "snap" echo inside of Arrowhead in any given week, but probably in our last home game just before the playoffs.
