Posted 6 hours ago

Event StaffArrowhead Stadium Email @atArrowhead

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Tuesday that the team has released standing room only tickets for Sunday’s game against the Oakland Raiders. Standing room only tickets are made available when general admission tickets are no longer available in groups of four or more.

Tickets may be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com, by phone at (800) 745-3000, in person at participating Ticketmaster outlets, or at the Arrowhead Stadium Ticket Office located between Founder’s Plaza and the Hy-Vee Gate on the northwest side of the stadium.

Standing room only tickets provide entry into the stadium but not an actual seat and are priced at $30. Ticket Holders are free to stand in any public areas but not on ADA platforms, in seating areas, aisles or vomitories. Standing room is permitted behind ADA platforms, in the Ford Fan Zone or on field level or upper level concourses. Buyers may use cash or credit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover). No checks will be accepted.

How about this, Chiefs? I'll attend your stupid game Sunday and I'll pay you $5 for every point you win by... but you pay me $10 for every point you lose by. Seems like a fair proposal to me if you're truly committed to winning, no?

Nevermind that you can still buy a pair in the lower level, on the 40.

Or 3 seats in the lower level corner.

What a PR stunt this is. "OMG, our fans can't buy 5 seats together, better open up SRO's."

I also found it funny that they scrapped the TM beta program that allowed you to actually pick your specific seats. I'm betting they did it so people wouldn't see how many seats were actually available.

You couldn't pay me $30 to go to the game in a 50 yard line seat this year...

if you must go, Stubhub still has plenty of tickets around $30. At least somebody else already put the money in Clarks wallet. Just be sure to NOT buy anything while in the stadium.

Edit

HOLY CRAP
not anymore. Just checked again this morning and now they only have $60 seats. sheesh.

Why?

Based on the huge bank Raider fans make or the undeniable reasons why we all now have faith and belief in our team?

People will always want to go to the Division rivalry games. Those late season games might have some trouble attracting a crowd.....Bengals, Panthers, Colts......and even those have some attraction because of Cam Newton and Luck.

No, they're trying to sell the "stadium experience" over the game. It's actually laughable.

The fact that they are calling them "standing room only" tickets is what is truly funny.

They could sell 25 THOUSAND of them and each person that bought one would STILL have a place to sit. LMAO

May not need a 'paint it black' protest. Raider Nation might take care of that this week scooping up all the cheap tickets from Chiefs fans bailing on this organization.
