Funny moment during Romeo's post-game press conference.

Adam Teicher asks is Cassel mentally tough enough to return to the starting line-up.

Romeo's response at about the 1:50 mark of the video:

...what did he say?

No answer. However, he did clear one thing up:

"The QB is the QB." No bullshit. Herm is laughing at this farce.

Heard it on the postgame. Romeo just paused for a bit, like he wanted to say no but knew better.

Why even bother playing Charles? A RB only has so many carries in his career. Why waste them this season? IR him with some bogus injury.

Answering the Matt Cassel question:

"At times he did okay today. Here again the Qb is the Qb and he has to take the responsibility but we all know that it takes a team to get things done and when things dont go well the team has to take responsibility in that. Matt is a strong young man and hell do everything he can to try and help this team because I think the team means a lot to him."

About who will start next week:

"We evaluate everything all the time. First well evaluate Brady and see where hes at, then well evaluate matt and see where hes at, and well evaluate Stanzi and see where hes at."

"Well go with the most experienced guy whos available. Im not ruling out anybody"

So if its the most experienced guy available, I take it that means Cassel, but judging by his answers, Romeo doesn't have half a clue.

Romeo is one of the worst speakers I have ever heard. It's not just the coach speak. On one of the lower circles of Hell, people who don't return library books have to listen to Romeo and Herm call the replay of an old Bucs/Browns game on infinite loop.

The Bad Guy

Never thought it was possible to hate a HC more than Herm and Gunther, but Romeo is like a mix between the 2 minus any competitive spirit.

If he's back next year, I just can't actively root for this team.

To me, the funniest thing Roleo stuttered out today was in response to the question about who was going to be the QB if Cassel went down. It comes at about the 3:00 mark.

Actually, that might be the stupidest/funniest thing any coach has ever said, ever.

Most likely none of the big three will be back. I think Crennel is the best odds of the 3 to go, and go first.

Well, you know, in this game of football, you know, sometimes things happen that don't help you and then when you don't, you know, get those things other things don't happen and, you know, you don't win. But we'll keep trying to do those things and, you know, other things because that's what you have to do in this game.

He might as well have flat out answered the question with a "NO" because he sure as shit didn't way yes.

"the quarterback is the quarterback" is his way of saying no, without having to directly say the word.

We all have to assume Quinn won't be ready. He did mention Stanzi and mentally had to look around to see if the Great Pioli was watching.

I'm going to give him a pass on this one. He's not going to give a straight answer knowing he's going to have to go with Cassel in the next game. He certainly didn't give him a ringing endorsement saying, "He looked good at times."

NO!!!!!!!!!!! Not till the end of the season at least. We fired Haley before the end of the season last year. We then promoted Crennel, he sparked us to two wins in our last three games (nevermind one was an epic 7-3 beatdown of the Tebow led Broncos), had the interim tag removed and we now have to deal with a year of this crap fest. Fire Crennel after the season is over. No more in staff hires.

Hilarious @ 3:00 when Romeo is being super secretive about who the emergency QB might be. We don't want to release that information, because it may give the opposition "An edge".

Are you serious? Our emergency QB has to be a secret? What is he gonna do show up our non-secret QBs? Really?

Same for Quinn. I want our new GM to have plenty of recent tape to decide if he's even a legit no 3...
