Not enough information....how long did they go without holding a lead. I am sure we can beat the all time record.

That would be an epic record that could never be beaten. Cassel and company could get together every year and pop the champagne corks when the last team takes a lead.

According to the wiki, they won week 9, which was the last game they played.

It took 15 (or maybe even 16) games during Todds first year that we would score on the opening drive iirc. That was a record then too I think we are on pace for this easy.

Holy hell.

What can you say...

I mean, the 1929 Buffalo Bisons.

The fucking forward pass didn't even exist.

Fucking Daboll...fucking Pioli.

Daboll began his NFL coaching career with the New England Patriots as a defensive coaching assistant in 2000 before being promoted to wide receivers coach for the Patriots in 2002. After the 2006 season, he left the Patriots to serve as the Jets' quarterbacks coach.

In 2009, Daboll joined Eric Mangini's staff in Cleveland as offensive coordinator. Under Daboll the Browns had the NFL's 32nd ranked offense in 2009 [2] and the 29th ranked offense in 2010.

"Jamaal is a good player ... and give Oakland credit," Daboll said, via The Kansas City Star. "They did a nice job of stopping the run. We tried to move it some other ways. Every week is a new week.

"You go as the game develops. You try to run or pass based some on what you think you can do and some on what they're doing. If they're doing a good job of stopping the run over and over, we're going to try and move the ball in another fashion. If we're running the ball well, we'll continue to run the ball."

How much is this dumbass goatraper getting paid exactly?

I mean, if anyone else was this fucking incompetent at their job, they get fired. Period. And he's earning how much to suck complete dog balls?

Eddie Cochems.

That's old time football.

We need us some Hansons. Old time Eddie Shore/Eddie Cochems hockey/football.

We wouldn't be the Charlestown Chiefs. Before the Hansons.

I can't really confirm this information. They don't have box score going that far back on pro-football-reference. They had a 7 to 7 tie in their 5th game. They also won their 9th game.

After suspending operations halfway through the 1927 season, the Buffalo Bisons, name intact, returned for what turned out to be a farewell season, with Al Jolley (a former player for the Oorang Indians) taking over as head coach. Jolley's dubious trademark was his teams' lack of offensive production

You mean like we pause the game after we go up 3-0 and have a 30 minute celebration. Like when Emmitt Smith broke Walter's rushing record.

1929 is in the same decade in which Boardwalk Empire is set.

Sergio Leone, Barbara Walters, and Anne Frank were all born that year. The Great Depression started, the first Academy Awards were held, and the Tarzan comic strip debuted. Mother Teresa began her Calcutta mission, the St. Valentine's Day Massacre occurred in Chicago, and Wyatt Earp died.

That was also the last time a football team sucked this badly.

KILLER_CLOWN

Much like the Bisons, Cassel doesn't really understand the forward pass either.

The Bisons never scored more than 7 points in the entire season (they had been shut out thrice) until their final game, a 19-7 win over the Chicago Bears

In their first seven games, the Bisons never led, holding this dubious feat until the 2012 Kansas City Chiefs.

This was, however, still an improvement from their 1927 season, when the team failed to score any points in all but one of their games.:shake:
