Will BB be able to control him?

No.

Makes me thing that the reason BB didn't go nuts with trouble makers (Ocho, Hayensworth, Talib) until Scott left the Pats?

Randy Moss was a pretty big gamble during Scott's regime, idk, Bill gets people in line or kicks them to the curb.

Right 53 process

We have the right 53, they have all the malcontents, now look at the records.

4th round a gamble?

I bet they gave up at least a 3rd for Talib.

Took a team with 1/2 our talent and trippled our wins in a much tougher division...

I don't know. He's good when he's on the field.

A team with a half assed qb > Chiefs.

I wanted him here but much like Peyton Manning he wanted nothing to do with Pioli.

I was referring to Moss' "character" issues, not what they gave up to acquire him.

I don't know. He's good when he's on the field.

But he's a head case with legal issues.

And when was the last time the Patriots paid fair market value for anything? I said 5th, but am wondering if even that is too high.

he could be so good if he wasn't such a dumb shit. But I still remember that pick 6 vs VT. That was so clutch.

Bucs fans feel like it was a coup to get a 4th out of Talib.

Pats had to do something. Their defensive backfield is shit. They've already had a bunch of injuries, and are being forced to play 1st-year guys they didn't want to play. Giving up a 4th and getting a 7th means it's very little risk. If he contributes, even for only half a season, it could be the difference between winning and losing a playoff game that gets you to the Super Bowl. He's not a model citizen but they didn't have many options.

Yep, the word is out all over the NFL about this guy, top players and coaches alike want nothing to do with him.

As long as he's here, it'll be nothing but has beens and never weres.

It was never about character. It's about bargains.
