I check a google news listing a couple of time per day for headlines of interest and this crash seems to be tied to the fiscal cliff.

There is a lack of confidence that something can be accomplished.

One day movements are noise.

Aside from that, points don't tell you shit. Percentages tell you how much the market actually moved.

The market is also reacting to a slowdown in Germany which could mark more issues with Europe. Additionally the markets are not bullish on entrenched interests to avoid the fiscal cliff coming in January.

*face palm*

You have no clue how to read a prediction market. The Romney spike was absolutely legitimate. Spiking doesn't mean winning though, you moron.

Bush's fault.THere you go, he got us into this mess, and we need more time.

We can't go back, we must go forward.

Hey left, go ahead, the cliff is in front of you, Jump.

You don't even have a plan, just the word "forward".
