Another impressive election for PPP. Yougov did well, but I'm going to need to see them nail the next 2 or 3 elections before I take them too seriously. They may have been lucky, but good for them and their internet polling experiment.

Rasmussen and Gallup sucked.

Rasmussen is alleged to be Republican. But honestly this was close...even in Florida they're still counting absentee ballots and it's close here too.

Rasmussen Reports’ final White House Watch daily tracking poll survey was posted Monday morning. It showed Democrat Hillary Clinton with a two-point advantage over Republican Donald Trump – 45% to 43%. To be precise, it was Clinton 44.8% to Trump 43.1%, a difference of 1.7%.

Obviously Trump won in the Electoral College. But in the popular vote, Clinton appears to have captured 47.7% of the votes cast, Trump 47.5% - a difference of 0.2%.

Our final poll, therefore, appears to be the closest among all pollsters who correctly picked Clinton to win the popular vote. We had Clinton up by 1.7%. In reality, she was up by 0.2%.

Unlike other pollsters, Rasmussen Reports and the other two major daily tracking polls – IBD/TIPP and the Los Angeles Times - showed for weeks that this was a very close race that could go either way. IBD/TIPP and the Los Angeles Times in their final surveys correctly called Trump as the winner of the election, but they also showed him as the winner of the popular vote.

With absentee ballots not yet counted. Plus I'd like to hear about how any voting irregularities regarding machines wound up or any fraud. There was massive fraud when Obama won but it wasn't enough to say he still didn't win. But in a close race, who knows how the popular vote winds up after all that.

The CPLWNJ poll was just simply spectacular. Hard to choose the best of the bunch.
