Wow. Just now. The house rocked a bit and I thought it was a huge wind, but none of the trees were blowing. First time ever for me.

If you have a gun... kill them zombies. They may or may not be eating doughnuts and be in a police uniform.

...I though it was funny.

I'm going to go outside and look around, ya know like people do when there's a tornado close. Actually outside is probably better than the 8 story building I'm in that could come down on me anyway.

I've felt two small earthquakes in my life. It does freak you the hell out.

Knoxville, TN but I don't see any reports of it.

My daughter, her boyfriend (who lives across town) and my cat felt it too. Local FB activity.

Okay ... I was just kidding. I'm not really taking cover ...

The worst one I was in was in LA. I happened to be at a recording studio sitting in a chair with casters. The room I was in had a tiled floor and I rolled all the way across the room ... probably about 20 feet or so.

Freaked me out, man.

I was in bed once... without a woman (or man) and felt the bed shaking. At first I thought maybe I'd been possesed by a demon or something simple like that... but then a few other things started clicking around. Went back to sleep and found out about it in the morning.

I was in my office of said 8 story building the second time. I have a basement office and although it was small I didn't love the idea of already being on the bottom of the pile to start so me and most others headed for higher ground for a bit, heh.

Just a minor rumble here in W. Ky, they said it was so shallow. Odds are it was an old underground mine caving in.

6.6-magnitude quake hits Myanmar

A 6.6-magnitude earthquake struck north-central Myanmar early Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The quake was reported to be only 6.2 miles deep. The agency originally reported the magnitude to be 7.0 but revised that number downward.

Two 5.0-magnitude aftershocks were reported.

No tsunami warnings were issued, due to the quake's inland location.

In March 2011, a 6.8-magnitude earthquake near Myanmar's borders with China, Thailand and Laos killed at least 75 people. At least 111 people were injured, Myanmar Radio reported.

Daily life is hard for those living in Myanmar, formerly known as Burma. A country that was one of the richest in Asia 50 years ago is now one of the poorest
