Maddow doesn't surprise me one bit; she's insanely smart and knows the issues like no one else.

The other two, not so much.

Any money exchanging hands dumbass?

What is wrong with reporters educating themselves on the issues? Especially relevant issues that the nation needs educated on?

He is doing what any good leader does. He is working with his base. Why should this even be an issue? No surprise at all.

Why do you need to educate people who would support whatever you did regardless?

Secondly, if it were just reporters educating themselves then why only 2 from a hack network?

Yeah, he probably didn't ask their opinion on anything. Crazy to even use a word like, "consult."

What an outlandish thread title.

Yes, I'm sure he was having Rachel Maddow lend her expertise on taxation.

Yeah, he had here there to talk hoops. Probably didn't get any opinion. Just talked weather, sports, etc.

You're right, a truly outlandish use of the word, "consult."

We should maybe consider a ban for misleading thread title.

It's not surprising that you picked up on it though, being one of the true middle of the roaders here.

Sharpton's history is worse than anyone on FOX.

FOX should require a higher standard that that charlatan. Yes it clears that standard however having to use that stick of measurement speaks as much to FOX as it does the charlatan~

Now if he can get Sharpton 2 just pay his taxes he's got something.

Tax issues

On May 9, 2008 the Associated Press reported that Sharpton and his businesses owed almost $1.5 million in unpaid taxes and penalties. Sharpton owed $931,000 in federal income tax and $366,000 to New York, and his for-profit company, Rev. Al Communications, owed another $176,000 to the state.[9]

On June 19, 2008 the New York Post reported that the Internal Revenue Service had sent subpoenas to several corporations that had donated to Sharpton's National Action Network. In 2007 New York State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo began investigating the National Action Network, because it failed to make proper financial reports, as required for non-profits.[87] According to the Post, several major corporations, including Anheuser-Busch and Colgate-Palmolive, have donated thousands of dollars to the National Action Network. The Post asserted that the donations were made to prevent boycotts or rallies by the National Action Network.[88]

Sharpton countered the investigative actions with a charge that they reflected a political agenda by United States agencies.[89]

On September 29, 2010 Robert Snell of The Detroit News reported that the Internal Revenue Service had filed a notice of federal tax lien against Sharpton in New York City in the amount of over $538,000.[90] Sharpton's lawyer asserts that the notice of federal tax lien relates to Sharpton's year 2009 federal income tax return, the due date of which has been extended to October 15, 2010, according to the lawyer. However, the Snell report states that the lien relates to taxes assessed during 2009

He met with them to discuss the importance of tax cuts. Basically, talk to the liberal media so they can put out his message and try to pressure republicans. "Consults with" is definitely misleading and practically a boldfaced lie.

Just like that time in 2006 when Laura Ingraham and Sean Hannity discussed policy with President Bush.

Just like that time in 2006 when Laura Ingraham and Sean Hannity discussed policy with President Bush.

And the subsequent conniption the Dems had over it.
Except I think that was in 2000, not 2006.
